  1. Thank you for your help. This install did the trick. Everything is working fine, back better than ever. This version is so much faster than what I was using before(when it was working right).

  3. Doh, thank you very much. When I was in the firewall settings, I noticed it was set to Public, not Private. Simply changing to Private fixed it. It's probably been like this since I set up Windows and forgot to change it.

  4. so likely firewall on server hosting emby is blocking. to test turn off the firewall for a minute. test ping again. if you can ping this verifies that the firewall is blocking. if you still cant ping the server then you maybe trying to connect to the wrong ip. Dont Forget to re-enable firewall after testing

  9. If you remove the integration and change it over to use this fork of it (https://github.com/revin34/ha-emby) and readd the integration, it works again. From the issues on github there is a python script error that stopped it working. The fork'd version has got it working again on the latest version of HA.

  10. @ISeeTWizard I've started working on something i hope will end up looking like this: I just made this in paint as an example. My idea is that people can choose between this and maybe a star plus choose their own color for it. As you made the request i'm asking you what you think of the idea.. Other people are ofc. also welcome to come with comments and ideas on it.

  16. It was my next step but the firmware solved it. I now have some other issues but it is the receiver's fault. Thanks

  17. We need to update the setting description since it says Roku TV. This setting applies to all Roku actually. Make sure you have this set to YES. Some Roku models claim to support HEVC @ 60fps but really are dropping frames left and right when doing so. So we allowed all Roku models to access this setting rather than just the Roku TV. We will update the setting description to remove that mention of Roku TV and that some Roku models are limited.

  18. I managed to get the active emby sessions into Home Assistant - Create a API key in your emby admin page. - Put the yaml below in your configuration.yaml sensor: - platform: rest name: Emby Active Sessions unique_id: sensor.emby_active_sessions resource: "http://<embyserver>:<port>/emby/Sessions?ActiveWithinSeconds=60&api_key=<APIKEY>" value_template: "{{ value_json | length -1 }}" scan_interval: 30

  19. Yeah, many settings are missing within the Apple TV App On my Android the Android TV App also misses some but here at least I can use the Android App itself which seems to be the one with the most options. I miss the background settings like audio background, video background startpage background like blue radiance Hope this will be one day integrated as I don't want to switch always between my Android TV and Apple TV

  20. This is an issue i also have, I have two homepods that it uses and whenever i hit pause for example theres a 2 second delay for it to happen and the same when i hit resume. When i use other apps (Netflix / Apple TV app etc.) the pause is instant, it's only emby. Would also like to see if there is a possible fix? Thanks

  23. Who says they are working on it lol, if you don't have devs with knowledge of the platform they don't work on it. The iOS app hasn't been updated in months and the fixes for from 2m to 6m ago have been "interface" fixes, so they aren't dedicating resources to it. Has nothing to do with it be easy or not. IOS development is also easier than android lol "Android developers commonly utilize Java and/or Kotlin, but iOS developers use Swift, Apple’s native programming language. Swift is typically easier to use and necessitates less code work when developing native mobile apps. Less code equals saving time and money when creating an iOS app for the iPhone or iPad" You can find numerous articles that talk about iOS. being a easier platform for developers, you don't need to support 10000s different hardware configurations and implementations, most iOS people run current versions unlike android. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/comparing-android-vs-ios-development-which-one-best-your-mobile#:~:text=Android developers commonly utilize Java, for the iPhone or iPad.
