i was going to reply back tomorrow so to have a several days worth, but... NO issues. I use roku and emby as I have and no issues..open/close nothing. so emby beta is given me no problems.

I dont want to poke the bear - but I look forward to the next Emby issue so I can enable this!!!!!!!

Hi, you were right. I didn't realize that the notification setting is a user-setting and not a global setting. I recently changed the main admin user, and the old one still had the notification setting also. Thanks!

Hi, you could try checking the box in server conversion settings to enable full speed conversions.

watching in real time, I see Emby web server app spinning. When I click the track that stalls it, for the most part, Emby immediately plays the track.

You are almost there - you need to setup a log parser so it knows what's what in the log - goto 'more > parser patterns' and then copy the parser I've shown above. Once all the columns are good (match mine) then save. Yes it's a powerful log viewer, but once setup, you'll be able to find anything you could ever wish for ..

it is really annoying, on chromecast the speed settings gets reset when fast forwarding or when changing subtitles.

Also, updating the password required new login on Emby Android App on my Shield (as it should). Entering the new, updated password on login led to a new PIN screen that I hadn't actually seen before. So more evidence that I was achieving a pin style experience via the password and that is what recently stopped being possible on the Roku app, and I mistakenly thought I had already 'upgraded' to the new client login scheme.

If you use a decent log viewer - then you can simply filter it out - on live logs if you wish. I use Advanced Log Viewer - Free on Github. Then just create an Emby template/parser - Emby uses standard Date, Type, Class, Message - so all very easy. You can then filter on anything you like, Classes, Error only etc etc. To get rid of any web notices - simple negate http .. they all disappear from the list. All new messages are auto scrolled so you can watch things live once you have setup a filter ... Reading ANY log as is (not just Emby) simply cannot be effectively done without these tools .. personally, I think they should be integrated into emby (the basics anyway). But having said all of that - the option to remove 'playback' entries at source is a good idea, especially on a busy server.

it would be nice to have server side dynamic range adjustability per user profile. I believe the windows app has it already but ios and android apps do not have this option that I could see. possibly a better option would be to enable that in all your client applications accross all platforms if possible so that one can adjust the dynamic range of the audio as its super hard to hear voices on my system even with treble and center turned to max. Most movies are like this and it would just be nice to have the future available on all platforms.

I think it would be awesome if we had an Emby version of Plex Requests. It would make life so much easier...All it has to do is send me an email and that would be a great start.

"Parents Guide: View Content Advisory" Every time I get a new movie, I take a look at IMDB in order to check for sex or nudity scenes across the content; only then I can decide to share that with my Family to watch; definitely it's not only me who cares about contents being watched by the kids; but I thought if a feature can be implemented in server; helping parents to: List restricted scenes in a content within metadata, with scene duration (start time/end time) control the playback so it skips these scenes automatically, it can be optional. Add a direct access to Parents Guide page in web client; it would be perfect if this information can be fetched from IMDB; but a direct link should work; I noticed that parents guide link shows in this format http://www.imdb.com/title/<IMDbId>/parentalguide?ref_=tt_stry_pg so it might be a way to implement a direct link.
