Hi, There are a lot of filters available and we can do every possible filtering combinations today with that. Still one missing, the possibility to filter by country. Today there are a lot of local productions and it will be fun to filter for instance all movies coming from China, Russia or France! Think would be great!1 point

Hi, Since I am using more and more TMDb, (since tvdb is more and more a mess), I am missing a very important feature. tvdb had the feature of grouping stuff into aired, DVD and absolute, which is supported by emby. TMDb had also this feature. See this example for "La casa de papel" (Money Heist, Haus des Geldes): The Original Order is allways the "aired order" of the original country. "La casa de papel" was originaly released by "Antena 3" and was taken over by Netflix, which results in different episodes ordering, which is a mess. They solved it in episode grouping. This feature is missing from emby, but it's integrated in their API and is allready supported in other apps, like kodi. At least, Banana a TMDb Mod claims it, that it's supported by Kodi: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/71446-la-casa-de-papel/discuss/5e7032d84f9a99001152704f?page=1#5eb76872ca7ec6001f7c53cb Is it possible to add this feature into emby? It is the last scraping feature, I really really miss for TMDb on emby. It adds much flexibility and is overall a much better solution, than on tvdb with their aired, dvd and absolute order. Another great example is Dragonball Super: As you see, it adds much more flexibility for different regions over the world. It's in my own eyes a must have for emby!1 point

I'm having the same issue on 4.9.0.27. Rolled back to 4.9.0.26 and working again. Since development and support for the plug-in pretty much went away once Luke baked-in a subset of the introskip feature set to the core code, I'm doubting there will be a fix for this issue. I've been holding out removing the plug-in and reverting to the now built-in introskip feature since it has been working so well for me...err, until now. @Cheesegeezerwas there ever anything posted for the best process for transitioning from your plug-in to what Luke baked in a while back?1 point

The devil's in the detail... Do you have two exclamation marks? Have you got season folders? Have you named the episodes with the series name (not the season name) plus the s0xe0y bit? This works perfectly for me, first time: Of course, you could just call it Wagnaria!! which is what TVDB will do anyway - that will avoid any ambiguity, and it's trivial to change the name in the series metadata, as I have. Hint - if in difficulty, look it up on TVDB's website (or if a movie, on the TMDB website). There you will see the name it prefers; all the other names it recognises; and the date. It occasionally helps to use a more distinctive name from the listing of names; and the date is sometimes not what you think, or another site might have. Use names from the metadata supplier concerned, and they will do what you need: Paul1 point

I'd love to have this feature, but a drop down menu to select the disc number. Roon music does a good job of this. You click on the multi-disc album and all the discs show up like in emby. Where the disc number is displayed, it says all discs. However, you can click on that "all discs" button and click on a disc number like, disc 1, disc 2, etc. Once you choose the disc number, only the tracks on the disc chosen are displayed. I have a few classical boxsets like Bach 333 with 222 discs. Having to scroll through the list of discs if not fun. Otherwise, I'm really enjoying Emby. I just got the premiere and plan on getting the lifetime. I discontinued my roon subscription because I feel that emby is far flexcible. Anyways, this would be a killer function to have. I will continue to test out emby as I am having fun with it.1 point

If I'm not mistaken, those would be Arrowerse crossovers - @rbjtechkindly shared his Crossovers script quite some time ago, don't honestly know whether it still works: Btw you might wanna rethink your episodes naming scheme and use one of the supported naming conventions, as you're bound to face issues having them named like they currently are. Emby has updated the playlist to be private by default. Steps: 1. Open the playlist you created. 2. Click (...) more 3. Click manage collaboration. 4.change visibility to collaboration. 5. Select each user to allow visibility or edibility. Done.1 point

tump graphics are automatically added. The scan is also set to automatically add to new media. I hadn't changed the configuration since the update and the problem has been there since the ffmpeg error.1 point

I added the "MIXED" media type and many new filters. These changes will affect only newly created queries. I have done a minimum of testing. So, I will fix ASAP any bugs reported. Vic PseudoTV.dll PseudoTV.zip1 point

Ok, so big schism in the TrueNAS / TruCharts world. The truecharts team have killed the link that you could use in TrueNAS to update the charts, etc, etc. What this effectively means is that I'm stuck on 4.8.7.0 until I can re-jig things on my NAS. I had quite a few things running using trucharts, including traefik to allow my Emby install to be externally visible. The long and short is that I have a bit of work ahead of me to move all that to a more sane and simple docker compose setup. I'll update once I've got that sorted Regards, CJ1 point

Call your ISP and simply ask them to put you back as you were - unless you have signed a new contract - they cannot change the T&C's mid term. For 99.9% of people, this makes no difference so they try and get away with it. Alternatively, just leave for an ISP who provides a real public IP address.1 point

In the meantime I've posted a compatibility update to the reports plugin to resolve this issue. Thanks.1 point

Yes some zip codes are working so you could map to another one for now. Unbelievable that so many people care about The Jetsons, Bullwinckle etc. Martin1 point

I have hundreds of anime. and find that the default TVDB recognises very one of them (only very rarely do I have to checkout TVDB's preferred name if it's not what I've used, and just once I added an anime to the TVDB database myself). When I tried the Anime plugin options, I got much worse results. In the case of Working!!, TVDB finds it just fine with that name as is - though it returns the name as Wagnaria!! (the US release name). I suggest you try simply using TVDB. Paul1 point

@Luke, man, I'd love to see this... I just learned of both TVE (yes, I was klewless! lol) and Channels: that it was everything I'd wished existed to gain access to the two cable subscriptions I have with Spectrum in the north and Xfinity in the south . And there it is...TVE. So I subscribed to a Channels account yesterday. But I like the Emby experience by orders of magnitude more -- manner of storing recordings and its metadata, Library UI, Admin UI, countless more ways -- and would switch to Emby TVE without question. So TVE integration even if a paid-for add-on service to my lifetime emby subscription would make that emby sub way way more valuable to me. Instead, for the time being, I'm manually categorizing TVE sourced Channels recordings that are placed all together under the 'global' folders that it uses into uniquely names folders and moving those into my Emby library folders; I love that Emby uses separate folders for media and really dislike that Channels does not. A needless chore I hope can be ended by Emby supporting TVE streaming.1 point

It also depends on what you mean by 'boost'. The 9700K has a UHD630 GPU - so it's only 1 generation behind the latest, so I think you'll find it can still punch well above it's weight for transcoding - and you should easily be able to get 8-10 x 1080p simultaneous transcodes, or 3-4 x 4K simultaneoustranscodes. Certainly good enough for typical home use. The P4000 has 8Gb fixed memory, meaning however you want to cut it - you cannot use more than this. Typically speaking, 4K transcodes need ~1Gig each, so you are limited to 8 regardless of how well the card performs. On the other hand quicksync uses a configurable portion of the system memory - so on a 16Gb system, it may use 8, but on a 32Gb system it could use 16Gb as Video memory. In summary, I'd stick with the 9700K and use quicksync.1 point

Maybe they are just late getting to publish that article and just added it to their website since it was missing. They were like wait, we missed this bit about Roku forcing 60fps that happened 12 years ago. That person then went, oh well, just publish it today and act like it just happened. Roku has always been outputing their display at 60 fps. It isn't something that just happened. It is just these people are hating on Roku. You are safe to ignore those types of websites that cater to these type of inflammatory rage-bait articles. https://support.roku.com/article/115012823268 You can always change this to adjust to the display rate of the playing media. But you will experience a black screen while it adjusts. Some people find the smoothing acceptable, some do not, but it isn't something that you cannot change.1 point

Hi, I see some series (ex dragon ball super or la casa de papel) that have the original episode group and the alternative (for casa de papel is the netflix division) is there a method to use the alternate group of episodes when scraping?1 point

Hi all, I was reading this post and it looks like a joke! While the OP is asking for more buffer others are saying about every kind of no sense things that is not the solution for the OP question. I have the same problem as the OP. In my case, both emby server and clients are at the same local network and everything is really fast. The problem only comes when watching IPTV, so the server uses internet to get the content, as we know, internet is not always perfect and stable, sometimes it has some seconds of lower rates, based on this, the buffer is usually only 10 seconds so the streaming can not survive some instability moments. Of course some jerk could say, get a better internet, your problem is not emby it is your internet and all the kind of no sense opinions. The true is, if Emby could keep a bigger buffer it would have much more chance to keep the streaming working fluent also when ups and downs happens. 10 seconds of buffer is really a small amount. I use another IPTV client and I have the option to set how many seconds of buffer I want to keep, it is the way to do it. @Lukecould you please take a gentle look at this thread? Thanks0 points
