Hi, I'm unsure if I'm the first person to report this cosmetic bug. I attempted to search the forum, but couldn't find any relevant results on the first few pages. Allow me to explain the issue: I'm currently using version 4.7.13.0 on Docker/Linux. When I click on the "Notifications" section, it fails to highlight in green, indicating that it's been selected. To replicate the problem, please follow these steps: 1. Select the "Logs" section - it should turn green to signify selection. 2. Next, choose the "Notifications" section. While the section loads on the right side, the selection doesn't change to green. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Following up - seems to be an issue with the tvOS app. With no changes to the docker container I’ve had to login twice to the iOS app within the same day. I’m using the latest client (1.7.4) and have had to re-login both when using Emby connect and logging in directly to the local Emby server. Seems like the tvOS app’s data keeps getting cleared.

Hi, Since I am using more and more TMDb, (since tvdb is more and more a mess), I am missing a very important feature. tvdb had the feature of grouping stuff into aired, DVD and absolute, which is supported by emby. TMDb had also this feature. See this example for "La casa de papel" (Money Heist, Haus des Geldes): The Original Order is allways the "aired order" of the original country. "La casa de papel" was originaly released by "Antena 3" and was taken over by Netflix, which results in different episodes ordering, which is a mess. They solved it in episode grouping. This feature is missing from emby, but it's integrated in their API and is allready supported in other apps, like kodi. It is the last scraping feature, I really really miss for TMDb on emby. It adds much flexibility and is overall a much better solution, than on tvdb with their aired, dvd and absolute order. Another great example is Dragonball Super: As you see, it adds much more flexibility for different regions over the world. It's in my own eyes a must have for emby!

I moved from Plex to Emby and even though I think Emby is superior in its flexibility there are some things I like better with Plex, especially in terms of its looks. This theme is trying to fix that by making it a bit more similar to Plex but with some, in my opinion, improvements. The CSS is attached to this post for anyone interested and below are some screens to show it off Good to know I only use Chrome so I can't guarantee this CSS works as expected in other browsers. Please add the different views to the emby apps, my roku app doesn't have different view settings, just one. In the emby webgui you can select List, Poster, Poster Card, Thumb.. List is the one i want to use on the roku app. I have long filenames and the name gets cutoff with the default roku view.

Hi. The web app already has a table view. Click the "..." at the top of the view, drop down the "View" option and select "Table". You can also select which fields to display.

Have you tried installing server on top of your current installation, as that appears as possibly failing hard drive or something tampering with install files?

same here, almost identical setup and i've made no changes since this issue was first noticed. I did one day see the deceptive site warning and thought i was going to have some work on my hands but despite checking since (a couple of months ago) it hasnt appeared further.

As far as I can tell the only static reference to Emby that is left is the one below. The rest are derived from settings such as domain and server name. So if you do use emby in the domain or server name those will be included in headers and page content.

Sure - I'm on A+ for them all - but I don't think it's related - as other people with A+ rating have been flagged. Until Google indicate exactly WHY they have flagged a site - then it's a cat and mouse game.

I don't believe the security headers have anything to do with this. People with A+ on ssllabs/securityheaders etc are still being flagged - so I think this is unrelated.

I have found the Impaired Hearing flag in MKVToolNixGUI

looks like it's all good again. Emby is running. The solution is to fully delete Emby from the NAS. I use ssh to tunnel in and removed the EmbyServer folder. reinstalled EMby and had to set up the libraries, users and download the metadata again. easy enough (once I got to that point). Any questions, message me.

I just verified that. No, removing the package leaves all that behind. I've deleted the EMby folder, so now I'll try to reinstall

Hi, we don't have both anymore as that is redundant. You can achieve the same thing by giving the airs before episode value a large number. @Carlowill update the documentation. Thanks.

We are working on unifying the two apps, and once that happens the sideload app will be in the store for TV devices. So the sideloading is temporary.

I can quite confirm that hang on stop problem was not about embyforkodi, but kodi itself. Few days ago I aupdated kodi to 20.2 on Nvidia shield android tv using play store. After updated there was a bug because the kodi icon was linking to the app on the playstore instead of opening kodi (I had to run it from the info page on te playsore). So I downloaded kodi apk from kodi page and reinstalled over existing one. It started to hang on stop very frequently. I completly uninstalled it, reinstalled from scratch from play store (this time no bug in the link of the kodi icon). Kodi worked perfectly without any hang on stop. For me latest embyforkodi addon is almost perfect on Android and Libreelec (RPi 4)

Thanks for the help everyone! I solved the problem by downloading external media player (mx media player pro), and replaced Emby's native media player (ExoPlayer). Emby's feature that enables integrating external player proved to be very helpful. Everything works now without issues.

Biggest thing that sucks is that I have to remember to manually update. Otherwise I am fine running this.

Did as you suggested and refreshed metadata and rescanned metadata folder. Still no dice. Then I restarted emby server. Still nothing. I am stumped.

Yes I'm sure you're right. It's working great now though with the current release so I think I'll leave it as it is and put it down as one thing less to worry about . Thanks for the quick responses.

@Lukeis this your standard scripted response for people with problems with ATV or are you just hellbent on promoting your standard android install? Please try to fix these problems in the ATV app because your android app is not ready for the big screen!!

Interesting - as I see the Port as closed. (@ of 09:32 GMT on 14/07/2023) Do you have any Geo blocking or any other services that may be blocking incoming connections ? Remember, when checking WAN connectivity from within your own WLAN range - you should disable Wifi on the mobile for the test, as that will be used in preference to 4G (WAN) - and if loopback has not been configured on the router, the test will not work. btw - your fqdn is in your first post - so you may want to remove it ...

Hi there, running on various iOS devices (running iOS 16.5.1) and Emby Prem. (Version 4.7.13.0) on docker with latest iOS app from Emby I've noticed something. While I have the same "ready for transfer" I've seen some things I need to share; Only 1 device can download/transfer connect at a time, Although the status "ready for transfer" is visible, I can see on my network (unify) that the iPad is downloading at a high speed (200mbps). After that download, the next device will start it's download as it was waiting. With this, it looks like the app(s) on various mobile OS needs another status as it's waiting on the server when it's done uploading towards a device that was already busy and thus in queue.

Hi, another 2 topics that bother me: 1. Is there a way to change the name of the Emby tab (I only managed to change it but changing Emby to MyDomain in index.html <title> section but this just shows at te very first seconds when accessing the server and right after it goes to login page it changes back to Emby). Can I set it to be permanent? 2. The problem occured in 4.3 update, there is a slim drawer scrollbar showing on the very left of the screen (not sure if it is clear from the picture). Is there a way to get rid of it? @fillidill just added this to the 4.7.0.28 beta and simply loving it. Thanks EDIT: Just noticed that Last Night's on the home screen doesn't have it's normal box. I'm assuming it's something to do with the fact that I only put loose episodes in that folder that I haven't watched yet.

+1 for the Title change used to be in /system/dashboard-ui/scripts/librarymenu.js but this does not exist in 4.3

It's still just not enough content for the feature to actually gain traction. That's why having them in a place like fanart or TheMovieDb will make it very visible and others will start contributing their own creations and then it will take off.
