With my knowledge, it is not currently possible from the Add to playlist pop-in to see in which playlist(s) the item has already been added. It could give useful information and save tons of clicks when actively building playlists, and prevent adding the same item multiple times to the same playlist. ------- Somewhat linked to1 point

Hi, I have been using Emby for a while and I love it. I'm also a Splunk user and wanted to analyze the log file that Emby produces. The majority of the useful information is stored in SQLite databases but I made an Emby app for Splunk to get some insights from the log file. I just wanted to share and let me know if you have some feedback Kind Regards Magnus You can find it here: https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/6874 GitHub repository: https://github.com/mljdivemaster/emby Attached are some screenshots1 point

Hi Luke: I just received a message stating that you replied to this message. For all intents and purposes, I have gotten all of my users squared away. It was just a weirdness that was happening I think. I am all good now. If I have any other concerns, I will reach out.1 point

I don't think it has anything to do with the version of the server. It sounds to me like maybe all the guide data had was 28 channels, and you may have picked a different lineup when you set it up again from scratch.1 point

This is now working well in 3.3.18. Thanks!1 point

No but glad to hear it. We are working on getting the standard app into the store for TV devices. Thanks.1 point

It should be noted that while the files do get scattered across the disks in a pool they are NOT split, like many disk arrays do, the files across drives. All files stored by DrivePool are totally intact and even 100% readable without using DrivePool at all. That is as long as the physical drives are not damaged the files can be found and accessed in the hidden directory that DrivePool creates to make its pool.1 point

That sounds like you are using the folder view on the Roku but some other view in the other app. I do not think the Roku app causes the folder to go away when it "deletes" the series and in the folder view empty folders get shown. I suggest you check what view you are using on the Roku app.1 point

It was working just fine, never had a problem, until a recent beta update buggered it up - not sure which one. it no longer records 2 shows simultaneously. It's Not a Hardware issue but in Emby Live TV software. Anyhow, looks like Luke is on the job now and I expect (hope) it'll be back to normal shortly. And I do agree, AU Commercial TV is absolute shit and I don't watch it either (thank god for Netflix and other sources etc ) but I do like my AFL... and I like to keep a library of good games. Normally, its not a problem to record the AFL unless Ch7 split the game around the 6pm news - starting on 7HD and ending on 7MATEHD, then it doesn't record the 7MATE part because I have it set to record a 5min buffer before and 10min after each game (a legacy requirement from when their scheduling was all over the place) and this causes a conflict because 7HD still records 10 mins of the News and not being able to simultaneously record stops the 7Mate portion from recording... Pisses me off no end.1 point

Hi. Can you show a screen shot of the problem area in both the web app and the Roku?1 point

Had this problem over several devices for quite a while, all running 2.0.83g, changed over to beta 2.0.87g and has resolved the issue. When can we see this fix in stable release channel?1 point

I don't know how I missed that tools section in File Station. All working now. Thank You1 point

And my response is the plugin works just fine, but each version needs to have their external id's set correctly and consistently in the metadata editor. There could be any number of reasons why this might not be happening for you, such as changes to your server settings, library settings, as well as factors outside of Emby Server. That's why we ask for specific examples. That's why we ask for log files, and that's why we ask the questions that we ask in order to determine the reason.1 point

OK, I can reproduce this in tvOS 17 Beta. Let me work on a fix, it shouldn't be a big issue to resolve.1 point

Yes! Found a solution. The URL http://prem2.di.fm:80/vocaltrance_hi?40936c5da95fe2612a7d6a can be played in the IPTV plugin.:-)1 point

Speading files across disks is not necessarily good either. In short, Drivepool is extremly flexible and I have not found a scenerio where something I need cannot be done. It can do the basic, 1 pool, throw it all in and let DP deal with it - or it can also do very specific multi-pool / ssd cache (across the same disks) where you want specific 'folders' or even certain file types to only go to certain disks. Maybe you want all 'new' files to go on the larger disks and balance off files from smaller disks with a view to replacing them with larger capacity for example. Don't let the pooling tool dictate how you want to plan your storage - plan your storage strategy, plan your backup strategy - and then find if the pooling tool can do it ..1 point

Oh shit... Different User Settings.... So what.Thank you. Now it Works1 point

Already covered earlier in this topic. But just to refresh everyone's memory, to release worldwide you have to have the status of being a Samsung partner, and that requires a monetization strategy that is profitable for Samsung. It's not like the other app stores where you just submit once and check off a list of what countries you want. If you're a free app you and you're large enough that they feel they need to have you, then you can get through. Everyone else has to pay them sufficiently that they feel it's worth it for them.1 point

Yes I'm not surprised as I doubt your TV has enough power to decode AV1 in software. Also, from your images, it appears your server is not powerful enough to convert it fast enough. You are only getting 28fps which explains the buffering.1 point

Looks like Sony may not support the OPUS Audio codec ? I can't actually see any evidence it supports AV1 either ... From the Sony SONY XR-55A90J specifications ... ? I would suggest sticking with HEVC/h265 (or AVC/h264) Video and EAC3 or AC3 Audio - these are well supported codecs. AV1 is still very much in it's infancy - and without experience/AV encoding knowledge you are likely to hit roadblocks many times when attempting to use it ...1 point

Would it be feasible to have a dialogue box that alerts you when you are about to add an item to a playlist that already exists on that playlist? Thanks.1 point

I am experiencing this same issue as well. Chromecast with google tv, everything up to date. ACC 7.1 content will fail to play, unless audio is transcoded. Super weird, and standard Android app sideloaded does not seem to want to play either without transcoding.1 point

Personally, I know my media collection, my family doesn't need to see techy details polluting the screen estate. Some people like it, but equally, a number do not. Simple option "Show Media Info" - in the UI (administrator options for user accounts) or global option in config file at least.1 point

Hi @ Cerothen that's it. (div[style=max-width:600px;overflow:hidden] { display:none; }) (it remove also the path for admins but anyway for me) thank you. @ all i did not check any other clients.(only the web client) For me, no standart user has to see any information about "real" paths. Admins are a different story. cu Taurec1 point
