I just restarted the server and now everything works again. Lol, of course that solves 99% of all issues.

I'll try this. I often merge soundtrack from different file when I can't get my hand on dual language track and sync them. So won't be my first rodeo with these tools. I might create a flag so I can tag them and put then in a workflow if that work.

I started looking into another rules, such as “Configuration Rules” and “Transform Rules” etc, and I changed/deleted a few of them that were just wrong (Must've changed it when I was tired some day)… But it works now! Thank you! They were non-standard rules, so not created by Cloudflare. Thank you yet again!

Would be great if Emby integrated bookets (PDF files, etc) for Music. For example, CD's usually might contain a booklet with liner notes etc that come with the CD, just like albums might have back the days of vinyl. I have most of these in PDF and the ONLY place I have ever seen it integrated into a music server type platform is Roon Labs. Roon is great, but can be expensive. in my opinion if you remove the html and leave the spaces correctly as you type, plus if you write a link and you can click it would be perfect, at the same time it would be very unpleasant to put everything in html, and manually remove the codes if in the future you decide to remove html... at the moment I'm inserting only <br> even a lo <li> messes everything up... so I'm waiting for news to solve these problems, I'd like to have a clear idea whether to use html or just have a text all attached

Instead of going through a bunch of testing I'm going to replace that system. I was thinking of doing that for a while, and this gives me the excuse to go ahead. With the problem persisting through a complete addon R&R it tells me there is something deeper. If others were seeing the problem I'd be glad to slug through it to find an answer. I finally found the issue. I had to deactivate auto sound formats (Atmos, Dolby Digital DTS etc) in the Shield menu and set it to manual. From there I activated all of the formats and bingo. DTS now works... The shield is directly connected to the soundbar and the sounbar to the TV via ARC (The TV is also set to passhtrough). I no longer have audio lag too. Everything is running smoothly. Thanks for your help in trying to solve this issue.

It's really easy for me to replicate this and I'm willing to work with the emby team and provide anything needed to find the root cause, if not already known.

So I run the 'All In One' Plugin instead - which I believe combines the SSD Optimizer and the other Balancers - this may resolved your problem - as I don't have any issues. I only Balance every day @ 02:00 - so I'm not 100% sure how this would behave if you did it immediately.

Agree - Unless the Intro's have been stripped or the BIF's have not been created at 0:00 then a black screen is expected - don't disagree at all. Just leave it I think - plenty of other things that need looking at ..

This would be my choice as well as the other is going to produce an error that will make it look like something is wrong.

...but yes, all the apps will follow the same order once changed for that user.

Sorry for the confusion, first post was written late at night. When I type in my "Remote (WAN) access: http://xx.xxx.x.xx:8096" into safari - while on 4G connection - it doesn't connect. That is the issue, therefore it's the remote access that is the issue here. It worked before, hence my confusion regarding this. Until I bought premiere.

All I have to do is toggle this mode and it plays or doesn't play. I don't see how it is not because of this mode. Maybe it is in combination with another setting, but this mode definitely affects it.

All looks good Eric - tested both DV7 (had to re-rip, as I've since converted all my DV7's to DV8's for maximum compability on other devices..) and DV5 - all direct playing fine, triggering DV with HD Audio passthrough to an AVR as the did before.

Hello, I think some file got corrupted. I deleted the library db file, then I did a complete uninstall of the server. Reinstalled and everything is working as it should. It was pretty painless. Thank you for your time assisting me.

This most likely was an Pixel Pro/Android/permission problem on a brand new phone (when I posted this originally). I deleted and reinstalled a couple of times again, granted permissions again and eventually it started working has has continued to work flawlessly ever since.

It doesn't look like it's a literal booklet per se, but image by image of the booklet pdf; I'm not able to use Roon on my current setup so I'm not totally sure how they lay it out in the app

Hi Luke, found this thread because I was hoping for a feature such as this myself; it looks like this is an example of how Roon does it, similar to booklet scans on discogs: This would be a fantastic feature for Emby to add, would really heighten the experience!

So, all you are really determining is a perceived lack of bass in the resulting mix-down. it is quite possible that some algorithms to mix 5.1 to stereo would ignore the sub channel or also possible that they would have a high-pass filter that would effectively do the same thing. The mixing is being done either by ffmpeg or the target device depending on exactly what signal is being sent.

Sorry for venturing off-topic, I think they still have some room for improvement with the cover art picker. I like that they have an "All" option in the most recent builds, but the previews are tiny. Anyhow, there are definitely nuggets of good engineering and design that could be the basis for inspiring improvements for Emby.

I think allowing access to my server is a really limited thing. But I'm not trying to build my own TV Station for $6/month. The current license allows to go well beyond what is "legitimate" for most use cases. In my case, I have a couple friends that have their own servers, and we allow each other access. Even if I add a few more "freeloaders" and a few close family, I'll be nowhere near the standard limit. Sounds like the "gimme, gimme" generation. Voting for leftists, complaining about inflation caused by their policies, and demanding more anarchy to fill the gap. You're not allowed to have a movie theater without paying for the copyright for what's on the screen. Period. In Emby's case, it's a line. They need to allow the majority of what amounts to the equivalent of borrowing someone's DVD, without letting people have that movie theater. If you need a movie theater, host it elsewhere and await your DMCA letter.

For better performance, try one of the following: Disabling the subtitles Using plain text format subtitles such as external .srt Using an Emby app that can direct play this format without transcoding, such as Android, iOS, Windows Desktop, etc.

well I read that document and I see nothing much to agree with. It is the broadcaster's or network's content and they should be able to encrypt or not encrypt as they see fit. While I like clear broadcasts better, a LOT better, than encrypted ones it is NOT a "right" or even a requirement. I detest federal involvement in private enterprises and it is the broadcaster's right to be stupid. If it takes fed action for broadcasters to behave rationally then whatever goal is desired is probably not worth it. While this move may allow some companies to behave badly it is what many people want. Like the move to digital broadcasts it will all even out and the companies involved will either encrypt their signals or not and the government has no business interfering.
