Just for clarification - this would be detection rather than full conversion support.2 points

Es scheint, dass DTS-HD HRA in der Android TV-App behoben wurde. Schauen Sie es sich an und sehen Sie, ob es so ist.2 points

Here is the original issue, actually two issues, the first is at the top of the linked page below:1 point

If Emby doesn't have that information, I'm not really sure how I'm expected to get it. As of now, I have all those sections wrapped in better error checks, so it should just skip them. I'm not handling actual files like strm or disc. I'm simply collating the data from Emby's DB.1 point

I just did that to test it out. Disabled transcoding and the movie would not play at all using the web app on the projector. The movie still plays correctly on my LG TV with no issues OK thanks for the information. If that's something that is in the works and can be completed I am happy to wait.1 point

You probably could have also just run the scheduled task, but thanks for the feedback.1 point

Yeah, I use Emby's ffmpeg in Windows for my manual bif creation with that command. I figured it would work in Unraid also, but it's a PITA to get inside the Unraid docker to get at the ffmpeg file, so I just used the static build without the skip interval to see if the biftool would work or not with there being so many versions of linux available.1 point

This did happen once for me a couple of days ago (on edge) - but always saves to file now. I'll report it if I see it happen again.1 point

OK @Cheesegeezer, moving this from another thread to here as requested. No new info with the part between the lines, same as before, just posting here for reference: --------------------------------- Can't seem to find a way to get it to work. If I manually download ffmpeg and biftool and run a command like this from Unraid command line: ffmpeg -f matroska -skip_interval 10 -copyts -i file:"input.mkv" -an -sn -vf "zscale=t=linear:npl=100,format=gbrpf32le,zscale=p=bt709,tonemap=tonemap=mobius:desat=0,zscale=t=bt709:m=bt709:r=tv,format=yuv420p" -s 320x180 -vsync cfr -r 0.1 -f image2 bif/%08d.jpg I get an error about skip_interval because it's not in that build. If I remove the -skip_interval 10 part, ffmpeg/biftool runs, putting .jpg files in the bif folder. It just doesn't work being referenced by the plugin. So the biftool seems functional, it just throws up the NullReferenceException error with the plugin. ---------------------------------- One thing tho that maybe somebody could help me with. For testing purposes, I setup another Emby server on Windows and put a few movies in a local folder and installed this plugin. I haven't done anything with the MediaInfo part of it yet, just wanted to try the bif creation. It goes through the motions, and I can see the temporary .jpg files in plugins/configurations/BIFTempImages, but when it is done, the .jpgs disappear, and no resulting .bif file is being placed next to the media. Any thoughts?1 point

Sorry, but I have enough about this endless discussions about artwork. Only choice is between 7.7.6 or 7.7.7.1 point

Yeah I've got your point. Fallback in emby-next-gen is not series fanart it's episode thumb I think.1 point

That worked. Instructions below Run: for f in */*/*.mp3; do eyeD3 "$f" --unique-file-id="http\://musicbrainz.org": --user-text-frame="MusicBrainz Album Artist Id": --user-text-frame="MusicBrainz Album Id": --user-text-frame="MusicBrainz Release Group Id": --user-text-frame="MusicBrainz Release Track Id": --user-text-frame="MusicBrainz Album Type": --user-text-frame="MusicBrainz Album Status": --user-text-frame="MusicBrainz Album Release Country": --user-text-frame="MusicBrainz Artist Id":; done Rescan metadata. Thanks again for the support.1 point

Hi Luke and cayars. I have worked around this issue by installing a second Mint system on the computer being used. I have Emby back up and running like a dream on it. I don't know what went wrong on the other system, but it sure is working well now. I thank you both for your offers of help and wish you well! Cheers!1 point

Agreed - it's what I said above but glad we are aligned .. I think this situation will be changing soon - with ffmpeg 5.0+ and the recent DoVi conversations with softworkz, I'm hoping DoVi integration will be added soon - long overdue - but as it's part of ffmpeg now, there are no more excuses .. ! Then we just need to wait for the more advanced AV stuff (Atmos etc) but I can't see that happening any time soon - not that it's an issue anymore as using the MediaInfo plugin has been brilliant in that regard.1 point

This is great info fella. And thanks for testing and providing feedback, it’s invaluable. i may have to do system checks and decide what system its being run on to omit specific CLI commands from the args would you mind shifting the rest of this to the official thread found here. so as not to clog this FR. cheers fella1 point

Emby doesn't know if a file is DV yet (all HDR is reported as just HDR), but both Android clients should be able to report the capabilities of the device the Shield is directly hooked up to. In ATV this information should be in SFN, and in the standard app there should be a line in the log with something like below *** Supported HDR Types: ,10,DV I get LLDV and RPU supposedly, but I don't get FEL from UHD movies I'm not aware if Emby does anything with that information though, I believe it just passes whatever you give it because it doesn't know if your file is DV. The capabilities are probably just FYI so you know why DV is or isn't working.1 point

I would say you don't need CloudFlare unless you know that you need it. Paul1 point

Hi, sorry for not answering sooner. So it seems to have stopped rebooting. The last oddity was it rebooting at exactly 3 AM every other day, even if I was watching something. Not sure what was going on there, but it seems to have stopped that. I just wish the USB/network wasn’t so slow on the RPi 3B+. Streaming 4K is okay, but 8K pauses to buffer, and transferring files to the server over the local network can take forever. Given the RPi 4 shortage, I may consider investing in a NAS. On a side note, I’ve been using Plex on my PC for the past couple of years, until I finally got around to setting up my Pi. Was going to put Plex on it but I kept reading that Plex would struggle and Emby was much better on limited hardware. I’m glad I gave it a go and have purchased the app. Thanks to everyone who puts time into it.1 point

Hi, yes I can see the issue with the plugin not importing the overview. We're looking into it. Thanks.1 point
