If you are expecting a button. It is in the works. Currently we do offer an auto skip feature, which you can enable per user. This will auto skip intros. Flagging the media has been a huge first step on the road to an integrated intro skip feature in emby2 points

@mickle026 I just want to let you know that it feels like you solve issues and pain thats been arround for year in Emby in such a high speed and with so much interaction with the users. It makes me cry and it makes Emby so much better right now!2 points

I moved from Plex to Emby and even though I think Emby is superior in its flexibility there are some things I like better with Plex, especially in terms of its looks. This theme is trying to fix that by making it a bit more similar to Plex but with some, in my opinion, improvements. The CSS is attached to this post for anyone interested and below are some screens to show it off Good to know I only use Chrome so I can't guarantee this CSS works as expected in other browsers. If you want the sidebar menu to look like in the screens, make sure to pin the sidebar. Watched badge/banderoll is inverted which means that the badge will not be shown if media have been watched, like in Plex. For desired look, please use the "Dark" theme for both Theme & Settings theme in the display settings. Emby-Stable-style-v3.6.txt1 point

Made a few images for TV Networks based on my Network list. They are all mainly grabbed from logopedia, all believed to be 'free to use', will place them in a ZIP on a google drive if people want to download them, nothing special, I have not created the images, just placed them in a 16:9 frame for use with Emby there is 136 images. https://1bestlinks.net/TVNetworks1 (updated link) Samples below;1 point

i have thousands of obscure things... lots of shorts, things not on imdb, alternate versions of things etc.. and every time i have to move and redo my setup/re-import everything i have to spend days identifying things in my movie library... but there is no real way to do it... have to manually add an image and name etc... with plex i can just click one button UNMATCH and it removes the usually misidentified match/metadata and replaces it with the thumbnail and filename. just finding the mismatched items that aren't on imdb is a full days work ; ) : ( i'd kill for an unmatch button : )1 point

That is Portuguese audio (pt), not Brazilian Portuguese (pt-br). Change your Playback settings to Portuguese audio.1 point

@richt @BillOatman It would be great if you could share your `comskip.ini` files. Also, I documented my setup for a debian-based server. I'll push that out after some more testing.1 point

So hopefully I got it right this time Took out the code for checking season folders as written above as its not needed and probably a waste of time. Added code to query episodes. First check the main folder then the episodes. It might do all the TV Shows main folders then all the episodes (not checked the order) Movies You can put actors in the Movie Folder path "\<MovieName>\" , or in "\<MovieName>\.actors\" folder \<MovieName>\Uma_Thurman.jpg \<MovieName>\Uma Thurman.jpg \<MovieName>\.actors\Uma_Thurman.jpg \<MovieName>\.actors\Uma Thurman.jpg These are all supported TV Shows Main Cover & Episodes You can put actors in the TV Show path in an .actors folder. Actornames should be the same as Emby library entry (same case) but can contain _ underscores. \<TVShow>\Uma_Thurman.jpg \<TVShow>\Uma Thurman.jpg \<TVShow>\.actors\Uma_Thurman.jpg \<TVShow>\.actors\Uma Thurman.jpg These are all supported Let me know if this works, thanks1 point

@ebr My bad. Can you give us an indication if the not-being-able-to-play-long-recordings problem is actively being worked or just added to someone's to-do list (or not even that)? @sfatula Thanks for the tip on using ffmpeg and segment_time to split the video into parts. It seems to work fine on my .ts files, and since it doesn't re-encode it is pretty fast. Also I agree it would be nice if we could check a box or something to let emby do it automatically -- especially if they don't currently have any plans to look into the issue.1 point

@GrimReaper this is very helpful. Thank you for the explanation, greatly appreciate it.1 point

Emby doesn't scrape anything from IMDB. That said, as mentioned above, per TMDB: - Eddie (1996): Action, Comedy https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/11107-eddie - Fred Claus (2007): Action, Comedy, Drama https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/5375-fred-claus - All Saints (2017): Drama, Comedy https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/450806-all-saints - The High Note (2020): Romance, Comedy, Music, Drama https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/606679-the-high-note And that's what's being scraped and what you're seeing.1 point

Hi. Others have mentioned this but the way you have your system setup is not how it is intended to be done and you are creating a huge amount of work for yourself that you don't have to. The way you are doing it you have to create a new library every time you add a new series. Instead, if you had it setup the intended way, it would all just work automatically when you add a new series. Also, I think you are giving up a lot of features the way you have it setup because the system is not going to properly recognize these series folders as TV series.1 point

Check ownership and permissions of the cert store. As long as the file is PKCS12 format it doesn't really matter if the extension is p12 or pfx.1 point
