  1. I often want to know the date I last played something but there's no way of finding out in the web interface. I know the date is stored somewhere as you can sort by Date Played. Please make it visible in the metadata or on the itemdetails page.

  2. As I'm transitioning from Volumio and Plex to Emby to centralize my usage to one app, the one thing I'm missing the most is gapless playback. This is particulary annoying when listening to albums like "Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd. I'm experiencing a buffer of about 1 second in between songs, which really ruins the immersion. Would be awesome if this would be implemented in both the Chromecast, and web player.

  3. Request that Emby server store Dolby Vision (including profile), Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, HDR10+ (smpte2094) and HLG for appropriate video in the db and use it for display in the media info and track selection sections of movie/episode details screen. This information once in the db can then also be used in numerous other areas like: Mediainfo Cover Art, Stats for Nerds, Distinguishing different DV profiles for hardware support and tone mapping Example Mediainfo app display of HDR10+ ffmpeg patch for HDR10+ https://patchwork.ffmpeg.org/patch/11491/ Related requested that may require DV profile information in order to prevent unneeded TM

  4. updated to v0.0.0.2 to fix foreign characters in persons/actors names not getting written back correctly...not entirely sure what it does (i dont understand character encoding) but it worked on 'money heist' when tested. removed apikey from config, script now requires population of admin username and password

  5. They don't show a price for this information (only sample options), but IMDB wants $150,000 a year for metadata.

  7. @Kandidat1999 you need to correct your system inotify limitation. 2022-01-01 08:35:13.299 Error LibraryMonitor: Error in Directory watcher for: /volume1/Music 2022-01-01 08:35:13.299 Error LibraryMonitor: Error in Directory watcher for: /volume1/Filme System.IO.IOException: System.IO.IOException: The configured user limit (8192) on the number of inotify watches has been reached, or the operating system failed to allocate a required resource.

  9. I've been playing around with this app. I see 1 way to currently get the metadata into Emby, and 1 potential way in the future if anybody wants to take on the task of building a plugin. Stash has a community script called kodi-helper that will generate an nfo file for any tagged items in your stash library. Emby should then be able to read the info from the nfo. Unfortunately I think this needs to be run manually from the CLI of the server running Stash, and any time you make changes or add files to your database you'd need to re-run it manually. The potential way comes from a community plugin that somebody wrote for Plex. This allows Plex to access the Stash database via the api as a metadata agent (aka scraper). If somebody were to develop a plugin like this to work with Emby, you could deselect all of the online metadata scrapers for the library and set it to pull data from Stash bringing in all your tags with it. I think it would need to have a Scheduled Task that could be set on an interval or ran manually to make sure the tags are kept up to date. At the end of the day, Emby's core function isn't around tagging metadata for personal or adult content. There is no scrappers at all for personal content, and no single reliable source for adult content. So feature support for these would be better suited as plugins IMO. They could be added by those who need it and ignored by those who don't.

  10. Hi. Just merging them will not affect quality. The files are just appended.

  11. Just an FYI, many of us use both Nvidia and Intel/QuickSync without issue for Live TV. Problems like that are normally older hardware or old drivers and system drivers/software not current. What GPU do you have and what version of the drivers are you using? Windows?

  14. Your provider is sidestepping the truth a little.. The guide time is set with a time and UTC offset. For example: It is then up to your program like Emby to adjust the time in the guide display to your local time based on the time/offset in the xml. If everything in your display is an hour off in Emby either your system is not set to the correct time (DST issue perhaps) or their guide data is wrong (also potentially a DST issue). If your client has the correct time and the DST flag is correct the providers xml is wrong. However providers guide data being what it sometimes is, they may still tell you "too bad, adjust in your client ;)" That being said, if Emby can't adjust that, you might request a new feature.

  15. Just a simple button or option in the menu that stops play once the video is complete I like to watch series and sometimes want to fall asleep to a tv show but often it will end up playing 5-10 episodes ahead and lose what episode I was on

  16. I'm not sure if all the blame is with Tizen tbh, because the Plex app is available on Tizen, in any version. Thanks for the suggestion but Emby is not listed with that setting.

  17. Great that its that easy for you. After doing my own two televisions i need to get on my bicycle and get to two family members (seperate houses) and do it there aswell because they arent able to do it themselves. It's an incredible tedious installation method which errors out a bunch of the times, and doesn't remember login/preference details. Also changing the language settings makes all the apps available for my country unavailable so that's not a solution either. I bought lifetime a couple of months ago to get rid of the trial messages but i'm starting to get a bit frustrated with Emby because of this recent change. The app itself is good, except for the subtitles obv, but i don't know if this ever will be fixed since it's been like 5 years waiting for a proper solution and all we get is a "we are working on it".

  18. Hi Luke, I know it takes a "few weeks" but there's almost a month since the 4.6.6 was released. Well, I'll come back in a "few weeks" if I still don't have notification (or if the package center is updated)

  19. There is not yet an option to open the detail page of items, it would be great if this feature could be added.

  20. Is it possible to vote against feature requests? If so, I would like to vote against this one. If the development team for Emby is as small as I think it is, I would hate for their time to be spent on implementing such a terrible idea. Why on Earth would anyone ever intentionally distort a picture to fit some arbitrary piece of hardware.

  21. Maybe have it jump back to episode list when playback completes, or just go to next episode and pause playback Hell just have the ability to enable/disable auto play during playback like you can in youtube

  22. I think what n3m37h is asking for is a "momentary switch". So he/she wants to keep both the "play next episode" function and "are you still watching" function active continuous but for a single use case wants to be able to throw an exception on-demand. He's asking for a menu item to interrupt both of the above global settings once then revert back to normal global setting implementation once the momentary has activated and completed. Is that what you're asking for n3m37h?

  23. After a few episode it may/may not show a pop-up asking is you are still watching. I've seen this 2, maybe 3 times with 46 days of watch time on my server, for my account alone. Why is it so hard to understand what I am suggesting? I want to be able to start an episode, lay down and have it stop once the episode is complete that way I don't loose my spot without it maybe asking if I am still watching. This is suggest a feature is it not? I am simply trying to suggest something not be told to do something that is not what I am looking for.
