When users download they are not seen, only in the log it says that a download was started. I would like a section to be created where the downloads and the percentage are listed, also that the download bandwidth can be controlled for each user.

I just created a mini tutorial to show the best way to mount shares on Synology in order to use them in Emby. You mount them to the file system itself and input the username/password so the mount is persistent. Then in Emby you treat it like any other Synology folder you would mount. Try mounting your shares this way.

A "Remove Link" button that does it for you is probably an even better idea...

Hi, the NVidia Shield is a great device that can direct play quite a bit.

The next release will have an info button with more detailed information about the source video.

So... if the emby server stays on, but the kodi box (PC) shuts down. New content is added to emby, then when the kodi box comes back on-line it no longer updates new content, tho it does show the connect to emby message. PM sent with logs

A total of 272 shows... don't know how many episodes that is but it's my entire tv show library. I'm at 43% fingerprinting so far so it's a waiting game for now.

Second this - "Going away" sounds like a rumor and regardless, last.fm has an extremely accurate and impressive metadata library

I've just watched Mission Impossible I followed by Mission Impossible II back to back - full 4K DV Remux (60Mbit+/sec) with TrueHD via emby on the Shield Pro (File Mode) - Zero issues with TrueHD .. so while the patch may fix 'something', the current Exo works perfectly fine for me - and there is nothing particularly special with my setup. You need to get File Mode working !

I was scanning through my Emby library just the other night and I was thinking about this ticket, and the fact that it's not really going anywhere (not that I thought it would when I entered it, but still). Nice to see that some other people are still annoyed by this! I definitely like having a visual indicator, but something that behaves consistently between library types, and is maybe smaller or partially transparent or something, would be nice.

But in the end that is where that version title comes from, parsing the filename. But your naming scheme does not follow the automatic version grouping naming scheme so you have to be manually grouping or using the plugin ( parses the name somewhat the same). Multi-Version Movies

So after turning the fast detection off it still ran really quickly with the same results so I just deleted the DB and will start fresh without the fast detection on.

i noticed, after adding my music collection, only about half of the artists came up with pictures. But when searching for pictures for the remaining artists, last.fm had about 99% of them. Any chance of adding that as a metadata resource?

Doesn't match a good 20% of my artist especially the newer ones, this is where the Apple music metadata plugin in jellyfin shines Plus musicbrainz tends to have the same listed quite a few times then you have to guess which one is the correct one, or in my case trial and error. Ultimately emby needs to have an option to copy local metadata to server metadata location, that way issues would be solved
