  1. Hey All, Firstly, excellent work! secondly, I noticed that this has stopped working in Emby 4.6.4.0, I have forked the repo and fixed if anyone is interested. (Have PR out for main repo) https://github.com/ShanePe/Emby.SmartPlaylist.Plugin/ Sorry also, I have made an update, if the playlist has NOT yet been generated, it will generate it, regardless of the playlist schedule trigger. So one no longer need to 'manually' run first to initialize the playlist if it falls outside of playlist generation schedule. (Make sense !?!?!?!) Version 2.4.0.3 Feature Create a copy of a playlist. (Duplicate) Decluttered UI by adding a pop up menu to playlists New Criteria: Added Audio Stream Codec Criteria (Stream: Audio Codec) Added Audio Stream Language Criteria (Stream: Audio Language) Added Audio Stream Display title Criteria (Stream: Audio Display Title) Added Subtitle Stream Language Criteria (Stream: Subtitle Language) Added Video Stream Codec Criteria (Stream: Video Codec) Added Video Stream Display title Criteria (Stream: Video Display Title) Updated Criteria: Parental Rating: Now uses official rating under the hood Resolution Height: Now uses video streams to determine the available video heights rather than the metadata. Resolution Width: Now uses video streams to determine the available video widths rather than the metadata. Added Monitor Mode to shuffle playlist type. Meaning that the playlist will be destroyed and recreated on a schedule, but between scheduled executions, media item changes will be batched and monitored for inclusion/exclusion. (So .... combination of live and shuffle modes but could have a perf hit on larger playlists, experimental) Collapsible sections in the playlist editor that keeps state, for more UI real estate. Added the ability to add notes to a playlist (limited to 256 chars). If there are notes assigned a pop up is displayed when hovering over a playlist (2 second delay). Order all selection lists on criteria with dropdowns alphabetically. ------------------------------------------------------- Releases Here -> (See change logs in this thread .... way down) Plugin for Emby Server 4.8: SmartPlaylist-2.5.0.4810.zip

  2. Cloudfare already gives you ssl certificate, scratch nginx.

  3. Can I ask a simple question? If using Cloudflare why do you need NGINX? Is there some reason you NEED two proxy servers inline? Right now this is just making your life super complicated, likely for no benefit at all.

  4. Hi, we plan to revamp playlist permissions in future updates. thanks.

  5. Thanks @softworkzfor the detailed insight. I see, not easy to Handle right now. But it is -again- great to see how awesome the Emby Team works. Thanks alot!

  8. Feature request for Auto Box Sets & the Emby server to show missing collection items / placeholder images for what we don't have that is part of a collection. http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/22732-auto-box-sets-show-missing-collection-items/ Thanks, hoping to see it worked out.

  9. Not sure if this is the role of server or plugin.. Would be great if the missing functionality could be extended to collections. I find it interesting that movies are part of a collection i wasnt aware of..and it would be great to see the metadata for those other movies from within the emby ui. Also there are some familiar collections where only the first was good but its still interesting to see actors / dates / directors of the missing parts. Missing titles could have their own folder repository in the metadata folder structure for easy rebuilds..and removed from said structure when found in a normal media folder..because the user has added to library. Thanks for considering.

  10. Allow user to only show recorded tv shows or pick a folder to only show them as recordings. Problem now is everything shows under recordings and gets a little messy.

  11. Download and extract the dll from the zip file. Place dll file in Emby\programdata\plugins\ folder and restart Emby server. You will find the settings in the server dashboard under Advanced.

  12. 7241 to 8096 And test: http://yourip:7241 - should work http;//yourip:8096 - should not work

  13. You need to forward your public emby ports to the local machine running emby

  14. Yes, Step by step is always a good idea. When one configuration works, then we test the next.

  15. Then make it simpler again no nginx, now no cloudfare, no domain name Just you, your router, and emby server So publicip:publicembyport

  16. Yes exactly this. It's at least 10 builds newer than what you're currently running so it would be useful to see if the most recent build of the client app has this issue or not.

  17. To me it is self explanatory as they are not tagged the same so you can not get the same results. But this is what I did and get. But yes you would have to modify the results give by any tagging software. As it does not provide the way Emby is reading the tags.

  18. @cayars wasn't suggesting you invest in new equipment (some Support he would be ), that was the link to the latest beta Amazon Emby client app for you to try and see whether it brings some improvent for your usage case. 19. Cloudflare allows setting itself up via proxied status where your real IP is never used on the Internet and any direct IP use would not work for SSL because it didn't go through CF. You can also setup normal DNS records pointing to any host as typical. When using Cloudflare proxied only specific ports are available to use and what you previously had in your router would not work.

  20. No, it's the point I was watching now, watch all the video. First you need nginx to work on Synology, I think it doesn't now.

  21. Sure, here it is, just make sure to back up your old one first, just in case SmartPlaylist.dll.zip

  22. And they are technically wrong to Emby. And splitting the does work as already shown above. But give me a few to fined "Laura Mvula with Metropole Orkest" and post results.
    1 point
  23. The defect is in the metadata as "Laura Mvula with Metropole Orkest" does not equal "37d067eb-495e-4888-ad97-4b5708ffd3a9/9f2ae371-63ad-496e-95ca-f90bad9b5b23". But "Laura Mvula/Metropole Orkest" does equal "37d067eb-495e-4888-ad97-4b5708ffd3a9/9f2ae371-63ad-496e-95ca-f90bad9b5b23" Same as above. But ARTISTS "Laura Mvula/Metropole Orkest" does equal Musicbrainz Artist ID = "37d067eb-495e-4888-ad97-4b5708ffd3a9/9f2ae371-63ad-496e-95ca-f90bad9b5b23" One can never equal two so tagging has to match.

  24. Change DSM or Nginx ports. They cannot be the same.
    1 point
  25. Can you elaborate? Now looking at it from a Primary view there is a defect as it is only showing the first album artist. @Luke

  26. Use it in dns mode, not proxied to make it easier to pinpoint where the problem is.

  27. You have a lot of things going on and issues could be anywhere. You would be best removing Cloudflare until you have NGINX working correctly. The easiest way to do this is modify the Cloudflare DNS to point to your WAN-IP.
    1 point
  28. These ports need to be changed. The Internal ports need to be 443 and 80 since that is what NGINX is listening to. BTW, did you say you were using Cloudflare?
    1 point
  29. Do it at the firewall level since obviously this needs adjusting. Doing a local firewall might have repercussions with NGINX we don't need to introduce right now!!!

  30. If the playlist was created by Emby it would be in that folder. So your playlists are most likely m3u playlists, that are probably along side your media files. You would need to locate the files and verify the file content. But we would need specific examples.

  31. Again thinking the same thing.

  32. Don't trust a test done from inside your LAN. Test this from a remote location or cell phone not using WIFI. Your router could be doing some "loopback" magic getting in the way and making your testing confusing.
    1 point
  33. That sounds like you are forwarding that port to emby directly on your router, because your nginx config doesnt listen on that port.

  34. I suggest you close them all as they contribute nothing.

  35. I thought the last time I tried it, it didn't work. I'll try it again though.

  36. But that screen matches what the individual schedule shows too so there isn't really a bug here but, rather, a problem with data and the default behavior of the recording engine. If the data were all correct, then you wouldn't want the DVR to keep recording the same episode over and over again but, unfortunately, the data aren't always correct. So, we probably need an additional check mark there of "Record even duplicates" and, perhaps, have the engine record all episodes that have NO episode information instead of treating those as the same (if that's what it is doing now).

  37. It could be a good idea to have an extra button alongside Delete and Move, on a matched item that already exsits that gives you the ablility to 'change match' as once it's been matched with a show you can't unmatch it? Would this not be an easier solution?

  38. In situations like this I always just set the first artist as the album artist, and then add both as artists (Laura Mvula;Metropole Orkest). Being able to do the same with album artists would be nice, but I don't think I've ever gotten Emby to recognize both album artists when trying that approach. It would be nice to have that option though.

  39. OK yes options to control this are possible for the future. Thanks.

  40. The code attached has the "select all" button added. The button will appear when you are on a screen where Movies or TV series can be selected. I just did simple testing. The add and remove tag buttons will work on the selected items. Vic emby-tag-tool-04.html

  41. Books are not the same as Audiobooks and will not show audio files. For electronic books, the following types are supported: pdf epub mobi cbr cbz azw3 So can you provide the same for Audiobooks. But not sure on why "K:\Emby Shares\AudioBooks mp3\Non Fiction" works and "K:\Emby Shares\AudioBooks mp3\Fiction" does not, assuming it exists on that drive. Issues with this path also Skipping realtime monitor for G:\Processed Home Movies because the path does not exist But that log is showing a corrupt database. SQLitePCL.pretty.SQLiteException: Corrupt: database disk image is malformed You will need to try and recover your database per the KB. Corrupt Database : Emby

  42. A question would be why isn't Artist and Album Artist split like Artists? To me Artist and Album Artist are improperly tagged.

  43. It'd sure be nice to shake my wife from her Netflix addiction but you have to pick your battles sometimes.. She wanted to watch Real Housewives of NYC from the beginning and for the life of me I could not ascertain Season 5 and a couple of episodes from Season 4 so for that, Prime is getting a few bucks. To me it is a waste of money but happy wife.. happy life!

  45. What's the stop code/output from: systemctl status emby-server You can also grab your logs from /var/lib/emby/logs, the most recent will just be called embyserver.txt, older ones will be appended with the timestamp, check if there is anything in there that would indicate why it won't start? Another place to get logs would be from your system logs, use the below command to create a file with the logs from the service: journalctl -u emby-server > embyserverservice.txt All of that is a starting point, maybe upload the logs and someone smarter than me might know why it won't start lol
