Due to the virtual scrolling that we have now, you're only going to be able to search what you currently see on screen, not the entire list. To resolve this, we're going to have to intercept the browser search function and replace it with a custom one. That just hasn't been done yet.

I would say on the per library Suggestions tab just like Music has Recently Played.

Is there a way to configure the guide to play the show directly from the guide without a popup screen asking you to hit play? Seems like an unnecessary step, if I see the show i want to play on the guide I should click it and its starts playing, instead an additional screen asking you to hit play. If I want to know more about the show I should hit an info button or something.

do you have id3v2.4 tags present? \\ in mp3tag for id3v2.4 tags.. results in proper id3v2.4 multivalue separator which emby (ffprobe) does not support afaik

@Luke That was it. Thanks for the suggestion. I had forgotten I did a quick CSS hack back when there was an issue wrapping the third poster in a library list onto the next line, effectively making it two columns instead of 3. A recent update must have conflicted with the elements my CSS targeted Ave produced these unintended results. Thanks for the information. Hopefully the plug-in will resolve this issue. However, I personally believe it should have been migrated during the initial update process. In my work as a consulting software engineer, all of my clients wouldn't have been particularly happy about it not happening during the initial update, unless there was an exceptionally good reason for it. A database restructuring doesn't sound like one to me - I work on them - and I'm not either. Regards, Bill

Thank you, this makes sense i can remove the 720 dupes from yhe m3u. Notmally i use other iptv app in tv,but. I like emby for iptv because it has recording option. I rarely have time to watch tv, and the recording options works perfect there.

This is extremely frustrating. I don't know why the support staff here have so much trouble remembering these things, since I know for a fact that we've gone over this recent collection issue only a week ago. (See link below) One of them is saying that it's not even possible to create music collections which is completely untrue and baffling coming from someone on the support team. I don't mean to be insulting, but I'd expect support staff to have a functioning understanding of Emby's features at a bare minimum. I say this as someone who has worked support before. What is actually going on: After the recent update, only movie collections have carried over, due to the changes made with music library scanning and storage. All music collections are not carried over (though if the dev had have wanted to, I see no reason why it couldn't be a possibility), so if you're like me and spent hours and hours on your music collections, the official response basically boils down to "Too bad, re-create them all again". In 'Home Screen Section 3'. if you select 'Next Up (Legacy), this will give you 2 rows - one for next up and one for continue watching. If you leave it as it is, it will combine next up and continue watching in the same row

Thanks! Actually there are (2) settings there for this - the setting below this one you mention is to disable showing info about the next video. So, I figure disabling one or both of these should stop the notifications. Thanks again! (Oh, just saw the other note saying this same thing! lol)

You were right. I deleted all of those "Recordings11111...." folders through windows explorer. There were around 300 of them. 60 of them wouldn't delete. Those folders were showing in the Library settings menu. I deleted them manually one by one. I can restart the emby server without any issues. Thank you all for your help.

Setting the display mode from tv to desktop will result in a very significant change.

Hi the new version works strictly from the tags in the music and doesn't look at folder grouping for artists. This makes things easy to identify and to fix tags that aren't correct. So what you need to do if you want this to show as a single item is to use a program such as mp3tag or picard to edit the tags of the album so the tags match.

I believe I've chased this down and that it is isolated to when the server admin restricts their own remote control access of other devices. So that should make it easy to resolve and thankfully, that also means this will not be a widespread issue.

So here's the config page. I will be uploading to the server plugin page shortly as a DEV release, so if you want to test it please set your plugins to dev. I've done as much testing as possible, but no doubt there will be bugs. Just let me know if there are and i'll fix them. Cheers

My preference would be that everything stays as it is now, except a fully watched TV show would get the check mark indicator like movies instead of nothing.

Often times when I see "Reason for transcodng: Media bitrate exceeds limit." in the info I wonder, what kind of internet connection do they have? I know this can cover multiple scenarios like bandwidth limit set for user, server, client side quality setting, as well as AUTO bandwidth detection... Can you PLEASE add to the dashboard the returned client bandwidth capabilities? The value you are getting from the client that tells emby its bandwidth abilities. While you are at it tighten up the spaces between lines on the transcode items, and align the results to the right instead of center.. MAYBE SOMETHING LIKE THIS :
