  1. EDIT: SOLVED, it was yet again another issue between emby and tvdb api, I refreshed metadata on the special episodes and all is back to normal Hi, not a biggie but I'd like to fix this neverthless. I have TWD complete series (all 10 seasons watched), Emby shows it as such, but Kodi shows 2 unwatched specials episodes within season 9 One of those special episode actually shows up both in specials and season 9 Those 2 unwatched episodes are in Specials folder. How it appears in Emby: How it appears in Kodi: How they appear in file explorer:

  4. How many movies and shows? Any understanding why it became slow, was it cpu, memory, network or storage bound?

  5. 60Mb/s is way beyond the published specs for the Fire stick (about 25) so that would be the case for that file unless the setting in the app was changed off of "Auto".

  6. DLNA has nothing to do with the ports emby is using - they are different services. Standard DLNA broadcast uses Port UDP 1900 (Broadcast) - which needs special configuration to allow transversal across vlan's because DLNA was never designed to be routed. You'll need to use DLNA reflectors which frankly are a bit of a nightmare. My advice would be to put the media clients on the same network as Emby/DLNA server - and then just allow those devices that need internet access their own pinhole. This is a better network design anyway, as the emby traffic does not have to traverse a firewall all the time. ie implement network segmentation, keeping media on a 'media' network, IoT on an IoT network and core/private stuff (PC's) on the most secure network for example.

  7. Thanks for the help @cayars! So, we got it to work by filling in LAN networks and Local IP address. Really shouldn't have to do this though. @Luke can you take a look?

  12. I bought the orbi saturday, had to wait til tuesday with both kids in school to setup. Setup was horrible, had to reset router, modem, uninstall & reinstall app. So after 2 hours got it working. The thing is a beast. Was fast. Plus I got best buy to price match amazon price of 500. Now the bad part...m after all that, I go to install circle by netgear.... the parental software, but wouldn't install, had to go through a bunch of steps on netgear to get tech support #... parental software not compatible with the orbi..... reset router, disconnected & returned to BB. Bought the linksys.... got setup in 20 min, named my son's devices & setup the timers. The fun thing with the linksys is now I can shut off the internet to his pc while he is playing fortnite . I really did like the orbi but couldn't keep it without the parental timers. Just an fyi.... my old router just plain sucked.

  15. lol - not sure if that is cool or spooky ! Amazing practical applications though - I presume it is using sound direction as opposed to video tracking ? Maybe it does both - if you move without speaking does it follow you ?

  16. I love the idea of trailers but the quality is absolutely terrible, making the feature unusable. Hopefully it can be sorted but to be honest, I’d recommend removing it as an advertised feature for Premiere until it is sorted in order to stop people getting pissed off about it. Just my 2c...
