  3. Thanks for the great product, we've happily used Emby for about a year now. The auto-subtitle capabilities are a big plus as we often watch foreign content. I appreciate that I do not need to be a tech hobbyist to run the Emby server, it has been absolutely no problem. We use Emby on an LG TV, via Chromecast, on Windows PCs, and Android phones, all work great. I hope Santa gives out a lot of premiere subscriptions this year to further spread Emby joy for the holidays. Steve

  4. In my house, I would like to see a User Profile selection similar to Netflix. Using my single logon, I would like my family to choose between who is watching. That way each of us can watch shows without marking it watched for someone else. In this scenario, I would have a 4 users in a Family Group using the same username/password.

  5. Is there anyway we could have and option across the board but mainly on android apps to adjust the size of the artist art? Like plex has the slider that adjusts the size of the art, it's just I have a lot of artists and scrolling feels like an endless task. Could we not have it so it goes 4 across and 6 down or similar?

  6. Emby Server 4.5.4 is currently rolling out to address a few small issues with the previous release. Here are the highlights: Fix regression in 4.5.3 causing slow browsing and search performance in certain situations Fix regression in 4.5.2 causing incorrect items to be queued to conversion tasks Fix Nvidia HEVC level detection

  7. It might. div.mediaInfo.mediaInfoPrimary div:last-child {display: none;} But suspect it is more about resolution.

  9. Everything I have tried doesn't appear to work on the Dashboard. So maybe something like this, will be dependent of what section it appears in on the Dashboard. .backdropCard:not(.detailImageContainerCard) { width: 16em; height: auto; } .section4 .backdropCard { width: 20em; height: auto; }

  11. To be honest, your original naming should have been OK, so we'll take a look at that.

  13. Not needed. I'll try to reproduce your problem with sorting. Currently i don't have any channel with ordered episodes, so maybe i've missed something.

  14. Filebot is my choice as well. But also check out Bulk File Renamer which you might like better. Those are the 2 utils most people use.

  15. Well it shouldn't do that. I'll check.

  17. @quickmic installed the latest build on a 100% fresh profile, and everything appears to be working fine. Running latest CoreELEC stable version on an odroid N2.

  18. First I would correct that naming to: Curb Your Enthusiasm / Season 01 / Curb Your Enthusiasm - S01E01 It is best to conform to correct naming 100%

  22. However, the current versions of Channels DVR supports M3U playlists and handles HLS streams and the discontinuity there perfectly. Works GREAT with Pluto - plays and records perfectly. Then i use channels DVR as a source to serve up Pluto and everything else to Emby because I like the Interface of Emby so much better. Check out these posts https://getchannels.com/docs/channels-dvr-server/how-to/custom-channels/ or https://community.getchannels.com/t/beta-custom-channels-via-m3u-playlists/24545 or https://community.getchannels.com/t/pluto-tv-and-stirr/24875 and https://community.getchannels.com/t/add-pluto-with-custom-channels/24870 Finally, one of the developers over there as created a docker image that will got out an scrape Pluto for the channels and guide data and serve them up via http as a m3u and XML files. THey work well with ChannelsDVR and worked fine with Emby. https://hub.docker.com/r/jonmaddox/pluto-for-channels I am running the docker container on the same Win10 system as my Emby server with Docker Desktop. I have considered moving it over to a Raspberry Pi because I have not been able to get it to autostart the docker container on WIn10 Docker Desktop. As far as ffmpeg and discontinuity and hls streams I wonder if the ffmpeg included with ChannelsDVR might help? Regards, Scott

  23. Even my Intel J3355 suffers when trying to transcode PGS subs which is why I always use subs my TV supports when using the Samsung app. Not to mention you will most likely lose HDR when transcoding 4K.

  24. Neither one of those actually provider people information/metadata (TVDB can provide a image). Only TMDB does, so any new person coming in from a TV library can not get any information is the way i understand the workflow. This is a issue of People being a sudo item of said library.

  25. It sounds like you didn't actually download the file. You can also use the url from the download page of our website.

  26. Hi. Just to note, the change in url is not related to the password issue you are encountering.

  27. Yes it works on the Shield, try the new thread:

  28. No, this is the way it will work moving forward as we can't have servers hidden behind the Emby domains.

  29. Just click the middle of the Refresh Guide task in the Scheduled Tasks list. It's a button to set a custom interval. What is your problem with the order? Maybe make some screenshots. Not that i know. Do you have an issue? Do you even need the "Export"? It's not needed to use in Emby apps.

  32. OMG THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN ASAP! It’s driving me potty fast forwarding 10 seconds at a time!!! My thumb goes numb about 20 minutes in lol

  33. Indeed the image+cue format, being designed for CD-R burning, is quite similar to .iso or raw DVD/BD directory structures. And yes, it's also low priority. I personally would never use it. I think enough people use it to justify supporting it eventually, though. For some people it is the only way to ensure gapless playback. In the meantime, CUETools can split and reassemble image+cue rips with no loss, preserving the HTOA and original cue sheet.

  34. Is it possible to code Emby for tizen the way it is on android tv and lg? There you can jump to the timeline of a movie and fast forward to every place during the movie you want. The 30 sec. jumps on Tizen are really annoying... It is nearly impossible to move 1h forward since it really takes forever to get there.. Thanks in advance

  35. Like most of the mainstream streaming services, Emby already has 2FA of sorts - Login and Device restrictions. By default, any login can play on any device - but if you turn this off (per user) then the DEVICE itself (which is assigned a unique ID) becomes the 2FA... For Prime (and probably Netlix) you have to Authorise the device it plays on, Emby is no different in concept, but you have to De-Authorise instead if you want 2FA. For the Web admin itself - then simply turn off internet access for your admin users .. ..and then if you really do want to Administer Emby remotely (ie not on the LAN) then VPN onto your LAN (via 2FA..).

  36. Just think how people would react if all the cable operators and TV set manufactures removed the ability to channel surf by hitting up or down channel. It's by far one of the easiest methods to change channels. On Verizon or Comcast if you want the grid you have to hit the button for it (guess it depends on the service you have with them and what STB being used). But the point is that UP and DOWN channel changing has been a vital way of watching TV since the first remote was introduced. Decades before any TV had any type of EPG even possible on the TV.

  37. Following. Would be fantastic if we got an increased fast forward or jump. The better half frequently won’t watch something if we are already part way through and have to continually press fast forward to get back to where we was.

  38. How about a checkbox in the home screen layout section "combine continue watching + next up", off by default.

  39. The app really needs a jump option. Can be done by pressing up and down. Press up to jump 5 or 10 minutes. Is it possible to add this?

  40. Right, we'd love to support everything we possibly can. But we don't have unlimited resources so we do have to make difficult decisions about where to allocate our time.
