Ok I just figured something out and it works now. I have two users for my Emby. Family and Mature. Family has restrictions on anything over 14+ and Mature has all access. This is to prevent our kids from watching rated R shows. In the family user settings under the parental controls tab there is a section to block items with no or unrecognized rating information. I unchecked this for live TV and now the guide showed up. Sorry for all the confusion and huge thanks for everyone helping troubleshoot. I feel dumb

Thanks for the suggestion rbjtech. I've only noticed the Matrix but there could be more so if this works I might delete/recreate them all. I had a look at the xml file and it did only have the Animatrix in it. I've just deleted: /var/lib/emby/data/collections/The Matrix Collection [boxset] Re-scanned Movies library and "refresh boxsets". That fixed it! Thanks. I think somthing funny has gone on with it after having to recreate all my libraries again. I think I'll delete them all and re-create to make sure I won't have issues in the future. Thanks

If starting to think about adding these type of devices at those prices () - then personally I would rather invest in a half decent Receiver (such as the Denon 1600-X) and a 'proper' speaker setup - you then get all the benefits of playing ALL sound formats (including DTS, DTS-HD, DTS-X) and the ability to plug in multiple HDMI sources. Plus of course it looks the business vs an ugly 'box' and you will blow away any soundbar from a sound positioning (and likely quality) point of view. Again my personal opinion, but I think the idea of uncompressed audio to either TV speakers or a soundbar will simply not be noticed. True-HD Atmos vs EAC3 Atmos is 'just noticeable' on some tracks on my Receiver/Speaker system - it's not in sound 'quality' but in sound 'stage/separation'. DTS-X is imo superior to even True-HD Atmos and this is not available on compressed formats nor is it available on many of the newest Samsung or LG TV's, nor Sonos soundbars - so another plus for a proper Receiver.

I'm working on something that will help in the short term. Hopefully in the next usb release.

Well, Infuse takes longer to sync with a Plex server, when Infuse syncs with Emby, it is almost instantaneous. There's a plugin in Emby which speeds up the process a lot.

If your browser cache is cleared you will see this until you login. This would suggest a change in your user password lan access options.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't remove it. People who are the biggest users of Emby are going to be collectors by nature and this is a vital feature to aid in checking the collection. I found 3-5 series that were missing 1-2 episodes thanks to this. Heck, I have one show that was missing the whole final season and didn't realize it till this handy feature.

I should add it to the UI, and/or hide the option altogether when the conditions are not met. Tvdb needs to be enabled. It may work without it being first, but i haven't tested that. Still I think the future of this option is a little bit in question now if the only provider we can do it with is tvdb.

Hi, it shouldn't touch custom collections that you create, assuming those collections don't already exist on MovieDb.

Agree with rbjtech. That HDFury isn't exactly cheap. Though that money could also go toward a decent Samsung soundbar with rear speakers that supports both TrueHD Atmos and DTS:X plus have 1 or 2 HDMI inputs if you can't get the receiver. The HDFury almost seems to be like adding a bandaid which may not solve all the issues with your current soundbar.

If it's just the one collection - then I would remove the XML file, re-scan and then run the Auto-Box sets again to recreate it. "<your emby location>\programdata\data\collections\The Matrix Collection [boxset]\collection.xml" You can open the XML file in notepad etc and see the file paths - probably worth checking what it says before you delete it to see if it only has the one movie in it.

It started working with the NFS optional paths after I set the folder to smb://nas instead of a UNC \\nas. Not sure why. Also learned Kodi does not like DNS for NFS shares so had to use the IP in the optional paths. But seems to be working fine now. Thanks.

That's the version I'm running based on post one. I'm running .30 beta server. Agree. I may take a look at this (source in op post) and get into the Emby plugin game. I kind of wanted to be "retired" from dev work but when it's something you personally want/like...

Nvidia is now pushing it as a streaming device instead of Gaming (bit of a reverse) since I guess they've figured out it's no Xbox or PS. But yea at 3 times the price...

Not everyone has the budget for that! Plus the Nvidia Shield is primarily a gaming device not a streaming device. I know it is the best option for both gaming/streaming but that's not what the OP wanted advice about!

Hi, instead of doing that, why not use the IPTV plugin and input the specific URL of the camera in that. This is what a lot of us do.

Yep, If you have high bitrate 4k videos, this is the way.. Great little device for the price!

You can plug a dongle into the USB port for Ethernet as well if needed.

Yep for the price these are a great option! I personally don't use one (Sony TV builtin Android) but my parents have one and they do a really good job. They are WiFi only but they can do 5GHz, so if you have a decent router/modem your all good.

What year/model is your TV? DTS is no longer supported in 2020/CX models, but this will automatically convert to AC3 in the next release
