but the movie files themselves are all just in Adventure UHD and Action UHD. they are not in subfolders below that folder. like this if so i don't think this plugin is going to work for you unless you reorganise to a structure like mine above. the problem is currently there is no way for emby to know which of the movies the themes you are showing me relate to. the backdrops folder needs to be in a subfolder to a movie that is itself in a single folder. like this

I would suggest looking into the several "drive pooling" options available and solve this at a file system level making your life a whole lot easier in a lot of places.

Can you try creating a new login for the subtitle provider and testing that account vs the account you are currently using?

@reggi's EmbyStats has some kind of duplicate detection if I am not mistaken. You might wanna give it a try.
