  1. If your library contains folder format media - this is only old disc style VIDEO_TS and BDMV folders - then be on the lookout for this new release and update as soon as possible. If your library does not contain that kind of media or you do not allow delete privileges for your Emby users then none of this applies to you and you can continue on your way... The issue With only these old-style disc rip formats it is possible that using the Emby UI to delete one of them could potentially delete much more than just that one item. The Fix Emby Server 4.0.3.0 will fix this problem. What to do until you have the new version In the meantime, if you have folder-based media as described above do not use the Emby UI to delete any of these items. You may wish to remove the delete privilege from all of your users until you can update. If you do not have this type of media then there is no problem. Also, this issue can only occur if you specifically request to delete one of these items and only one of these types of items. Emby will not go deleting things during normal operation or under any other circumstance. Also deleting any other file-format item (mkv, mp4 etc.) is still safe. This includes any and all Emby DVR recorded items. We sincerely apologize for this issue and have moved as quickly as we can to rectify it once it was properly diagnosed. Thanks for your support.

  2. I am with some of these other people. I love Emby, but after shelling out over $200 for both premiere and the 45 device lifetime, I am a bit bothered. Don't you think you should make the increase across the board and actually reward us users who have put up the extra money as well?

  3. Always someone missing the entire point. Problem is not 'buying something and asking for a refund on difference'. It's about keeping the system fair for those who have supported Emby beyond the initial entry fee. Mentioned it's a great step in the right direction regarding limits, just really needs to be adjusted down the line. I can understand if extra devices paid monthly can't be altered but to not adjust the permanent upgrades ( which can't be removed or refunded ) is only a slap in the face, more so if you made this purchase recently. Wording on the upgrade page still looks like these stack to me as well. When I purchased expected 45+15 and was left with +45 after spending 119+99 (310aud). Now a week later we get this news. Nothing but good things to say about Emby otherwise. Just sharing my 2 cents. Perhaps it's something they are considering already

  4. Can the 45 devices users get a bump to 55? Seems only fair. It's not like it couldn't easily be. There's not some scarce resource that they're rationing out here.

  5. Will agree with previous posters. While this is a great step in the right direction regarding device limits and new customers. As someone who purchased +45 less then a week ago (thinking I would have 15+45..) We should get a small bump too please.

  6. okay, well I paid to raise my limit to 45 so that means I need a limit increase to match. Please bump my license to 55, its only fair

  7. Can we at least get a small bumb on the Extended Plus options then? I mean I probably wont use the 45 have now, though if it was 25 then i wouldnt have needed the 45 in the first place.
