The Emby central server will be down for a short time on Sunday May 17th as we upgrade our infrastructure. We expect the downtime to last less than an hour and it will take place sometime between 10:00pm and Midnight, Eastern Daylight Time (Monday May 18th 2:00am - 4:00am UTC/GMT). This will include the emby.media website, the Emby Community forum, and all central services such as Emby connect, Emby plugin catalog, and Emby supporter verification. Thanks for your patience as we work to provide the best service possible.

The new ppa and repo are labelled as beta for now just because of there infancy. The major changes in the new ppa are as follows: mono 4.0 is now distributed with our ppa ImageMagick has openMP disabled Maintainer Scripts were added in order to ensure the upgrade process of emby package. On first install user is notified of information he should be aware of regarding permissions. libwebp got updated to the latest version. init.d script now starts mono with various switches and options that is suppose to increase stability. Precise is now compiled, whether it works remains to be tested. Init.d script will use system ffmpeg and ffprobe if found. Please see the following post for more info: PPA Docker Repo
