Although I am keen to try out a other system, I do not see any need/benefit to install XBMC on any machine I own. The live TV support on XBMC is just not very good. It is slow to change channels and above all: no encrypted channel support. For those needing lots and lots of plug-ins, XBMC may have some benefit(although MBC plug-in database is also getting bigger) but for me, I keep using WMC/MBS/MBC it is BY FAR the best and most professional TV and Movie watching experience in a single integrated platform and WMC is still good till the 2020's As a side note, I do believe that for a average user, setting up a XBMC/XBMB3C/MBS combo is not a trivial task!
