Is there any way to remove the 100 items view limit for a library?

If not can this be implemented in some newer releases? I found this limitation very annoying :)

There is an old thread from 2016 that mentions editing the limit in the librarybrowser.js file, but that does not appear to work any more.

In fact, when I tried that method, I lost the ability to navigate between pages of the library; the left/right arrows and count disappeared from the top navigation view of the library and for some reason yet only the first 88 items in the library were visible - the rest of the library could only be accessed via filters. The problem was very similar to what is described in this current thread, but I had not changed any of the collection settings they discuss there.

I've done some poking around and discovered, however, that editing the Limit in the movies.js file has the desired effect for movies libraries.

location:

\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\dashboard-ui\scripts\movies.js

Towards the end of the file you will find the text "Limit:100"

You can change that "100" to whatever number you'd like, provided that your machine can handle loading all the posters at the same time.

500 works fairly well.

But I've also tested it with larger numbers and I've been able to have my entire 1,200+ movie library all on one page.

When you change the number, save and close the file, and then refresh the library page to view the change. If that doesn't work, clear your cash and view it again.

Hello, any news on this in version 4 ?

there's no system\dashboard-ui\scripts\movies.js any more

there is a system\dashboard-ui\movies\movies.js, but there is no limit:100 in it

and there is a limit:100 in itembynamedetailpage.js, but this seems to do something else.

I am having a lot of problems with the list jumping between pages or the arrow buttons being disabled after I edit a movie. It would be so much easier if it was just one big list like the mobile app.

But I don't see this changing that behavior.
