DSM 7: no access to path

Hi everyone,

I updated to DSM 7 without reading the migration guide first. After installing it, I found that Emby stopped working. So I downloaded and installed the latest version for DSM 7. All of my attitudes were gone. When trying to restore the backup, I was denied access to the path ("The path could not be found. Please ensure the path is valid and try again."). I also get this message when creating new libraries. Apparently the access rights are no longer correct since the reinstallation. Is there any trick to fix this?
A user named "Emby" is not listed in DSM 7, so I cannot check permissions.

Thanks 🙂

Edit the permissions for the shared folder click the drop down and change to "System internal user".  You should now see the new "emby" user, then give read/write permissions.

If I were you I would do the migration

You should be able to pickup from the guide right after DSM 7 was installed.

It was enough to copy the data into the new directory and set the permissions via SSH.
