On my LG TV, the channel up/down buttons did next/previous chapter, or skipped to the end if no chapters remained. They don't work on the Shield. Although I'm not really sure, to be honest, why my remote (Logitech Harmony Ultimate One) works with the Shield at all, given I never set it up. Just changed the Activity inputs and expected to have to use the Shield remote until I got a hub, but forgot once and the Logitech worked, so I've kept using it. It's just quicker to press the chapter skip and doesn't bring up any sort of OSD to detract from the viewing experience, so I prefer that. I know the older Shield remotes only had a couple of buttons but the new one has a few, and with a Universal remote even more is theoretically possible one supposes.
