Refresh on Artist - Scope too wide / Unrelated Library data changed.

when i refresh eg. Alanis Morissette with advanced refresh, replace existing images.

ALL the tracks in ALL the albums alanis has a single track for is scanned. (even those tracks which alanis is not in)

ALL the tracks in SOME albums which alanis has no tracks in at all are scanned. eg. The whole of W:\Music\Soundtracks (an organisational folder containing 'album soundtracks' - not an Artist)

eg. Star Wars is Scanned

 

images are overwritten on albums unrelated to the artist (very undesirable)

the wide scope (unrelated albums and tracks being scanned) is still there with a normal refresh.

same applies to advanced refresh, add missing data only....donwload missing images on movies.

Ran against "take me home tonight" @c. 13:58 26/08 and the command is run against what seems like my whole collection including monty python which hasnt been touched for a long time..and today (26/08) loads of new images
