"No compatible streams are currently available" error Can't play all files

I get an error and all my local files (flac mp3 mkv mp4...) can't be played. (I have them stored on QNAP).

Stream format can be played. (Web Radio)

My server is running on Nvidia Shield and I have exactly the same problem. When trying to play any file from my library I get the same error, even with files that previously played fine. Only the streaming of movie trailers works as expected. 

I also noticed that several posters, images and screenshots are missing and a library update did not fix that. I have updated my server to the latest beta version (4.7.0.3) but unfortunately that didn't fix anything either.

To me it would be smb path authentication issue, but not proficient on platform.

SharpCifs.Smb.SmbAuthException: SharpCifs.Smb.SmbAuthException: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.

So no library is actually being seen or updating, but the database is presenting you existing items.  But this  "not exist error" is specific to RTM but a issue that need resolving as I would guess Emby does not have access to the media it is trying to play.  But a platform guru will have to comment more.

That may be true.

When I try to set up a library, I get an error message saying "I can't find that path.

Let's take a look at that.
It has been working so far, so maybe it's a bug?

Hi, instead of adding the smb path into Emby directly, try mounting it to a local path using the tools in the QNAP OS. Then add the local path into Emby Server. Please see if that helps. Thanks.
