Never existed the interest of the forum by someone who has knowledge to develop applications in operatv store to create a version of Media Browser to be installed in the direct tv app store by the store operatv?

Yes PLEASE!

 

This is all that is stopping me from paying for/changing to emby. (As well as many others I'm sure)

 

The built in dlna is major caca on so many levels. Plex has had an app there for years, what's the hold up

The new emby theater runs almost perfectly in the opera TV emulator so at some point we'll look at packaging it into an app

Fantastic news - I noted I couldn't run Netflix via my Shield in Australia, but I could do it through the TV app, so hopefully this will allow me to do the same with Emby, seeing as we have no working way of doing offline sync with Android TV for poor users in Australia (DSL speeds are too slow for most for streaming). Good to hear this might be a workable solution
