new added movies no longer listed in "new media report"

Hi,

I note that since version 4.6.2.0, newly added movies in the library "movies" are no longer listed in the daily "new media report".
The server log files do list the new movies in the "movies' library.
Newly added movies in other libraries are listed in the "new media report". so the mentioned problem only exists in the "movies" library?
Example: On Saturday i added the movie "Endangered Species" and on Sunday i added the movie "Zebra Girl", both movies are not listed in the "New Media Report"

If you need more info to provide a solution to the problem please let me know.

Hi Neik,
I use 2 Emby options for this:
Menu item Notifications > Playback Reporting > New Media Report and User Activity Report (Reports and e-mail plugin)
New media is also reported to the family members through Pushover messages (Pushover plugin).

Hi

I did another test on adding new media.
I have an Emby Beta environment running on a 2nd Synology NAS.
Yesterday afternoon I added 2 movies to the "Movies" library and for a while watched both movies.
As expected I did receive the "User Activity Report Notification" but NO "New Media Report Notification".
So also on the beta environment this process now goes wrong.
Any idea how to solve this?

I don't get it, yesterday both Emby servers had to reboot due to an update of the Port Mapper plugin.
And now, after adding new media in the "Movies" library, a "New Media Report Notification" is suddenly generated.
So you would think that the reboot of the servers would have taken care of this.
But because of the reported problem, I had already rebooted the servers once.
So what really solved the problem?
Who knows, may say, as far as I'm concerned "Case Closed"
