Diabolicbutterfly 1 Posted June 6, 2021 Share Posted June 6, 2021 I run emby on a synology DS418, the server and files are both hosted on this server. When in direct play (I checked we're not transcoding) there is a half or less second delay. It's just enough to be notable and annoying. I've looked at all options and can't seem to figure out how to make this better. The client that it's ran on is on my 4k apple TV. I also have EMBY client installed on my TV (LG with their newest smart TV software) and there is no lag. On the apple TV no other apps have a delay, just emby.
