Today, it is not possible to accelerate video if bitsreaming compressed audio. (DTS, DD)

VLC can do on all type audio. I hope it can be the same on Android TV.

Hi.  VLC is able to adjust speed when bitstreaming audio?  Are you sure they aren't locally decoding it to PCM and sending that out?  I don't see how you could adjust the speed of a compressed audio stream but maybe they have some sort of black magic...

I confirm that VLC is able to adjust speed of all video.

Just to be sure, I can't accelerate with EMBY Android TV this video but no problem with VLC

Right, but is VLC actually sending a bitstream to your AVR or is it decoding the audio and sending PCM?

Our app can do the latter as well, if you select the option to "downmix to stereo".

I found the downmix to stereo. It's working.

As it can be great because I put auto is the option change to downmix to stereo when it is necessary. (when you want adjust speed for example.

@ebrDo you think it can be possible to EMBY to always show "change speed" and modify the downmix to stereo when it will be necessairy ?
