IT WONT LET ME SELECT A CERTAIN FOLDER

Emby wont let me select my films folder thats on my nas

nothing happens onceive clicket select then volume 1 then movies it just goes back tothe start

 

any help would be great as i paid for this yesterday and still havnet been able to set it up

Hi there, can you please describe this a little bit more? What exactly do you see after clicking on the folder you want to add? Can you show a screenshot? Thanks !

Hi , I think you must give emby the right to read your folders media.

Are you on dsm 6 or dsm 7 ?

its version 4.6.1.0

ive given my synology permission too

i have a 12tb hardrive attached to my nas and it finds the folders on there easily

is it ok to just run all media off the 12tb attached drive instead of the synology?

 

will it all still play ok because if it will ill just do that and keep the nas empty

You have to give the emby system user permission to the folder. That could be the reason why you can't add it.

What exactly do you see after clicking on the folder you want to add? Can you show a screenshot? Thanks !
