Please ensure it is running and try again. I tried connecting local server on my Android Mobile Web Browser its opened the URL on first go easily.. My laptop and Mobile are connected through Wifi and TV is connected via Lan Cable, but all from One Modem/Router. Can someone please help.
SamES 891
Are you trying to connect using http or https? Check the local and remote server name and port on the server Dashboard and make sure you are connecting to one of these addresses and correct port. For your case, it's best that you use the 'In-Home (LAN) access' address or server name. https will only work if you include 'https://' in the server name AND you are using a well known/supported certificate authority (ie: not a self-signed certificate)
nicolasmai 1
I have the same issue, some remote users with LG Smart TV app are not able to connect to my server. They enter the server like https://xxx.xxx.ch and with port 443. The server has a letsencrypt certificate. On Android it works with the same url and port. I don't believe LG TV's accept Lets Encrypt certificates unfortunately.

I don't know when it stopped working, but it used to work for quiet a long time. And it still works for devices which are already connected. Only when adding the server for the first time it doesn't work. I'll try it with a plain http endpoint.. edit: I've tested it with the web browser and it returns a warning that the certificate is not trusted. Looks like the certificates on WebOS are outdated.. Luke 37095
Quote Looks like the certificates on WebOS are outdated.. Yes that would be a problem. You'll need to use plain http then.
