MagicRin 7
hi there, I encountered some problems.I had no other choice but to come here for help. Most of the videos can be played by hardware transcoding, but I have found very few videos that cannot be played by hardware transcoding. The video pops up after loading for some time with the error message as shown. System Environment: Emby version: 4.6.1.0 System version: DSM 6.2.3-25426 Update 3 CPU: intel i5-10400 GPU: UHD630 I found some ffmpeg logs. What can I do?Thanks! ffmpeg-transcode-456f33a7-d06e-41a9-aaf2-dec19b52f762_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-c57d053e-79b2-4445-a043-c86b71be7809_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-75b92498-e40b-4689-abf1-e6740c490f49_1.txt Edited May 27, 2021 by MagicRin
Luke 37191
Hi, as a test, if you turn off hardware transcoding, how does that compare?

HI,a few days passed, during which I rebooted the device and added a new hard drive, and suddenly I found that the video that could not be played by hardware transcoding could now be played normally again. What a strange phenomenon.

Solution Carlo 4331 Posted July 5, 2021 Solution Share Posted July 5, 2021 That sounds about right. 10bit AVC never really caught on with device makers. HEVC on the other hand usually has good 10 bit support.
