Luke 37216
Yea we're not going to move away from ffprobe. We should be able to update it to add the support ourselves.

spon 24
Great news. I figured out how to use MusicBee to create a custom "Artists" tag consisting of \ separated artists so that ffprobe and Emby are able to parse them correctly. If anyone else runs into this issue, shoot me a DM and I'll walk you through how to do it.

softworkz 3347
Hi guys, the latest beta of Emby Server for Windows (4.7.0.7) includes support for reading null-separated id3v2 values. Please let us know whether it works for you! softworkz

ginjaninja 539
i gave it a very quick go with this file from the ffmpeg bug tracker linked in this thread, as soon as i saw in the release notes...but i couldnt get it to work...perhaps i need to persevere? or maybe the improvement doesnt apply to id3v2.4? multiple_id3v2_4_values.mp3

For troubleshooting we always used to use ffprobe to "see what emby sees" ..so it would be good to continue to be able to do this...
