get channel icons from xmltv instead of m3u

is there a way to fetch channel icons from xmltv instead of m3u?

possible, but then m3u is being prefereed. An option to prefer xml would be good to have

I believe it will first load the m3u based on then replace it with what the guide provider has.
Are you not seeing this?
Have you checked the image in the xml file guide?

I think the mistake was here. looks like the guide didn't provide the images I chose earlier (that's an external tool I'm using). But I saw that I can set this up in Emby, too. Will try it out.

We do support pulling them from both sources, but when both contain them, we don't currently offer way for you to indicate a preference of where they come from. That's something we need to add.
