freaksed 0 Posted May 20, 2021 Share Posted May 20, 2021 I don't know what has changed but I am now not able to connect to my emby externally. Emby Connect never worked, but I was able to use the ip before. I have updated my network settings to try and resolve this and now the ports are visible from outside the network. But I am sill unable to connect to Emby. If I connect to my local vpn from outside I can connect as if I am local, but the external ip does not work. Why? this is ok but you're just making things more difficult. Now you have to go all the way up through the chain from the container to the router to make sure 8095 is open at each level and forwarding properly.
