TV via M3U on Roku: bitstream streamed from emby or from url

When I watch an IPTV stream via the M3U Tuner on my Emby server via my Roku, does the emby server send the bitstream to the roku, or does the roku app retrieve the stream directly from the iptv provider's server?

Hi.  It will go through your server.  We cannot verify the content or source of the url so cannot risk going directly to that source via the app.
