BillOatman 502
When I put a theme.mp3 file in the root directory of a TV series (\TV Series\Silicon Valley) with a directory structure of: it doesn't seem to play the theme. However I experimented a little by putting the mp3 in each of the season directories one at a time, and when I did it to season 3, which was the only one with unplayed episodes, the music played. What are the rules for where to put the theme music, and is there anything that needs to happen such as a scheduled task being run to discover the mp3 files after the file being put where it needs to be? Luke 37151
Have you explored the options in the app to enable the feature? Did you run a library scan?
BillOatman 502
Thanks for the fast response! Well it plays when its in the season 3 directory so I would imagine the feature is enabled, but I will check. Is a library scan what needs to happen once the mp3 file is saved in the base directory of the series? Thanks, I will give that a try!
Solution Luke 37151 Posted May 12, 2021 Solution Share Posted May 12, 2021 Any new file needs to be scanned in by the server, regardless of where it is .

BillOatman 502
The scanning was the missing piece of the puzzle. Works great! 1
