UltraDevs77 0
Hello, How to change user password hash in database, I could not find anything in forums or docs. I believe before it was SHA1 but looks like this has been changed or maybe I am wrong about it ? Kind Regards Edited May 7, 2021 by UltraDevs77 typo
rechigo 293
Yes Emby uses SHA1 for hashing the local user passwords
UltraDevs77 0
Thank you @rechigo ! It is indeed SHA1 but it looks like Emby needs to be restarted if you directly (sqlite3) change user.db fields .
