Hi, if you go to www.canyouseeme.org from your home lan where your server is installed and put in the port number being used for Emby (ie 8096 or 8920) what result do you get back when testing from there?

@cayars

I use EMBY since lot of time.

And this sever currently works with app mobile / web brower etc... Is not a port problem

All with emby connect. And now since few hours all the FireTV are disconnected.

I think there is a problem with emby connect.

OK for sure there is a problem currently with emby connect.

If I try with my external IP or my hostname : OK

If I try with http://app.emby.media/ : can't log

Could you give it a quick test anyway? That could help us identify where the problem might be.

Should be a very quick test.

Could you PM me your external IP or hostname?
I can try to connect (don't need to login) to make sure everything appears normal from remote.

I was able to connect no problem using your domain URL.

So that begs the question why use Emby Connect at all?  You can give everyone your  domain name and they can login directly and never need Emby Connect.

Because it is much easier for everyone. Just the PIN to the TV and it connects without having to use the url + port + login + Pass.

If the emby servers are knocked out, I can understand not identifying with Emby Connect. But why can't I use my url with emby on the FireTV ?? (error to connect).

On FireTV you can login with the PIN or bypass that and enter the info manually for a direct to server connection. Just personal but always my preference.

What I would try next is to go to the user tab on your server.  Go to the user and remove the Emby Connect username, save (bottom), add back the EC username and save again.

Now does it work?

Did you try the above steps to reset the EC account?

Hi.  Also make sure that your server dashboard is reporting the proper WAN address.  This sounds like maybe it is incorrect.

@ebr can acces on my server to WAN address.

But all my user use Emby Connect.

And my server disappear to emby connect for all of my user...

And if I Add a news user with login emby connect. My server not appear.

If I use manual url: OK

Why ?

it happened suddenly.
