Emby will pull a screen grab from the video file if the meta data doesn't include a primary image. This is all done in the background with no options to change the behavior. No Poster content Option for using a generic placeholder Specify user-defined image to use Provide more options for screen grabs. Guest Posted April 29, 2021 Share Posted April 29, 2021 (edited) Yeah changing the view helps this.. but when they are in the same Library with items that have posters doesn't look great unless you have thumbs downloaded.. for landscape poster. Currently the only other fix is to have the right filetypes that support it and embed your own poster image. I assume you are talking about Emby inheriting other image types when a poster is not available? But as specific example could explain more.
