Playlist features?

With the playlists features rolling out I see great potential but had some questions about current and future features.

 

Will playlists be able to mix all types of media? I currently use iTunes to make playlists that mix media, mainly podcasts and audiobooks together, and the ability to drop my reliance on an iDevice for this type of listening would be great!!

 

I know there is work being done on syncing media to apps (time frame??  ), will there eventually be an option to sync playlists?

You can try out audio book support in the latest beta release of Emby Server. Simply create a library using the Books content type. Once scanned in you can play and resume just like you would expect with audio books. Please try it out and give us your feedback, we're listening. Thanks !
