pir8radio 1292 Posted February 21, 2015 Share Posted February 21, 2015 kind of the wrong forum.. lol this one is really dedicated to media browser a much better plex-like software... Directv has a very very specific requirement for dlna streaming... its really dumb they try to limit it so that people cant use the dlna "hole" for netflix like services... and things like that.. they really tried to make it only usable for home movies... the only dlna servers i have gotten to work with it was (not any more) windows media player and this TV Media Share software.. i actually bought it... it still has issues with some newer movies... But I try to leave trans-coding disabled so the movies are good quality. anyway, i hope they get the media browser dlna server profile working with directv, then I can ditch the Roku's all over the house...
