adminExitium 173
That won't work since -d "{"id":0, "on":true} implies body of the request which Emby doesn't allow customising. It's not part of the URL.

adminExitium 173
I don't think that's possible right now. Emby needs to allow you to change the request type or customise the body.

I can see through wireshark that no requests make it to the IP address of the dimmer device when I try to actuate through Emby. There is no communication between emby server IP and the dimmer IP. However when I use a browser on a PC I get the following: and the dimmer reacts accordingly. Is it possible to make a feature request? To have an option similar to the webhooks, but when an event takes place Emby will 'ping' a user typed IP eg: 192.168.0.70/light/0?turn=on&brightness=50 to control devices directly? Or is there a plugin that might do this already? Thanks again Edited January 11 by Stan Guiseppe
Stan Guiseppe 6
Hi all, I was able to use Scripter X plugin to get this to work. In there you can define a web GET and set up the trigger. Thanks all for your help
