bwpent69 0
After you have been playing a TV show OR MOVIE, you can hit the OK BUTTON on the remote, and an overlay come on while the show continues. This overlay usually shows the LOGO of the show, a time line for the show, where you are in that time line, how long the show is, and it even tells you when the show will completes play with you local time. Suddenly, the past couple days, I don't get this over lay anymore, now when the show if playing, when I hit OK, I get a BLACK BAND at the bottom, with the name of the file I am playing. I have tried all kinds of setting changes, trying to bring it back with no success. Can anyone tell me what this OVERLAY IS CALLED, and HOW TO BRING IT BACK? Your help would be greatly appreciated, bwpent Edited March 1, 2021 by bwpent69
Solution ebr 14958 Posted March 1, 2021 Solution Share Posted March 1, 2021 Hi. Use the down arrow instead. This was a change we had to make to comply with Roku policy. Thanks.

plittlefield 44
Wow, a down button to bring up info. Weird. Nice to know where it is though! A classic case of "goalpost moving ".

A lot of modern players use this as it is like you are "scrolling down" on the video. In the case of Roku, though, it is just about the only button available to us.
Starlionblue 80
Good thing I found this thread. It was driving me a bit nuts. YouTube also has "scroll down". I guess it is becoming convention.
