Can't ask android tv to play a movie with voice

so i just got and android tv. and setup the assistant. when i ask it to open netflix, or disney etc. works fine.

 

anytime i ask it to "open emby" "open emby app"

it thinks im saying "NV" "NB" MB" "MV" etc. 

does google assistant just not recognize emby like it does with netflix?

i have a neutral north american accent, same as my wife. and when she went really slow and clear, she got it to recognize "open emby app", but it still didnt do anything


maybe this is just an android tv / google assistant issue. so i dunno

actually, maybe not. i setup google home through my phone. asking it to play or open on my phone doesnt work. 

and after the setup i went back to my tv and asked it to play "infinity war on emby". then it asks which app, but didnt show emby as an option

however, when i asked it to "play endgame" emby DID show up as one of the options. not sure why only endgame worked and not infinity war. i guess i will go try some other stuff. hells kitchen didnt seem to work.

i just thought it would be simple to say "play X on emby"
