"Dolby Atmos/TrueHD" Input Signal killed by the transcoding process

When in play  a Dolby SoundCheck (Dolby_Leaf_Lossless_ATMOS-thedigitaltheater.mkv) directly with VLC (with the passthrough parameter activated) on my computer, I can hear the sound moving thru all my speakers (9.1 setup) AND the INFO menu from the Marantz SR6011 display "Dolby Atmos/TrueHD" Input Signal. This way to play this Demo obtain a perfect sound result.

But, when I play the same SoundCheck in a Microsoft Edge Web Browser (v 88.0.705.68 64 bits), thru a Emby interface, my SR6011 INFO menu displays "PCM" Input Signal and Surround mode. The result is that I only hear the sound with the front speakers in stereo. The Emby Info Menu display that this demo is played with DirectStream in HTTP/HLS and the Direct Stream Info is H.264 (direct) and MP3 codecs. So it seams that the transcoding process killed the "Dolby Atmos/TrueHD" sound.

As I always use Emby to watch movies and music, could you tell me :

1) Is it a bug or a feature not yet offered in Emby ?

2) If so, is  there an other way to use a Passthrough parameter in Emby to hear the original Atmos sound or any other tricks ?

Thanks,
