MagicDoubleM 93 Posted February 6, 2021 Share Posted February 6, 2021 As soon as HEVC for live-transcoding-sessions works I'd love to see the option to preserve HDR10 instead of always falling back to (tone-mapped) SDR. It's meant for instances where remote streaming to an HDR-capable client has enough bandwidth available for 4k (or 2k)-streams, just not enough to go without transcoding for an source-file that exceeds the bandwidth-limits. Also 2k/HDR through HEVC as target is a possibility that could be an interesting alternative to 4k with tone-mapped SDR. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
