Justus 7 Posted February 1, 2021 Share Posted February 1, 2021 Hey, I wanted to ask how to set the user to be saved on the FireTV Stick. Actually I would like it quite like for example in the Netflix app, where you also do not have to log in each time with username and password (or with the Emby Connect Pin), but simply click on your profile and get to the home page. Unfortunately, a FireTV stick that is not in the same network automatically disconnects after 10-15 minutes without use. If you then start the Emby app again you have to either manually enter the ip address or log in with the Emby Connect Pin. Can I set that the last used profile can be saved and simply clicked on or the profile does not log out at all, as it is strangely with my FireTV stick at home? mastrmind11 717 Posted February 2, 2021 Share Posted February 2, 2021 yep, check the settings in the client app, there is an option to remember the last user. there is also a setting on the server for users to not use a password when on the LAN. you can also set it to use a pin and just leave the pin blank if you don't want to enter it every time.
