  1. Show A = JPN + Eng Sub
  2. Show B = ENG + NoSubs
  3. Both shows have individual separate files

Thanks for the feedback.

Didn't want to create another thread, I have another query.

What sort of nfo do I need to have for "Seasons" Overview. For Tvshow, its tvshow.nfo. I want to have separate nfo for Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, etc. For Overview only. It can be edited normally through emby but I want it in nfo form.

i.e. Season 1 Overview. What sort of .nfo file does it take for emby to detect this?

I would try just enabling emby to save the season nfo, then click save in the metadata editor and then you'll have an example file.

Don't you know the exact naming convention for season's nfo? It would mess everything up if I save metadata locally, overwrite my current one. Please find this out for me.

or just do a test on one folder which you have backed up prior to testing

did a test for season.nfo, it worked. Put this in your wiki for other people's future reference.

<season>

   <plot>here it is</plot>

</season>

sounds like you have not enabled nfo saving on the library

drum role...... season.nfo

You should have said earlier. Don't make people do experiments when you know the answer. Don't beat around the bush next time.

I don't see you or luke saying "seasons.nfo". That was what I asked originally.

I have no problems doing tests if you guys don't know the answers, but that's not the case. Oh well, thanks anyway.

Where? As far as my search skills are concerned this is new info. Where did you find this info?
