ecrispy 23
So I have TV shows organized as recommended - Tv \ Lost \ Season 1\ Lost - 1x01.avi Lost - 1x02.avi etc.. But would adding the year work also, and isn't it better? i.e. Lost (2004) as folder name. Asking because for some shows there is conflict which has to be edited to fix it, because there are multiples with same name, just like with movies. thefirstofthe300 291
Yes, for shows that tend to get conflicts in TheTVDB, adding the year helps. For example, unless the year for Battlestar Galactica is specified, the server will always pull down the 1979 metadata, even if there are four seasons in the folder. Adding the year to all of the TV Shows shouldn't cause any problems with metadata fetching.
ecrispy 23
Great, thanks. Now is there any tool that can do this? I usually use tvrename.com to rename the episodes from TheTvdb, but it doesn't rename the folders.
