riverboat2001 18
From what i can gather to use Nextpvr, i have to write out a .m3u text file for my tv lineup. I have about 50 channels. Not the end of the world, but it means that if the ip adress of the server is changed, i'd have to change the .m3u file again ! Should i just go back and downgrade to nextpvr 4 so that it "just works" Spent literally 8 hours to get it all working! And now it seems i wasted my time. Spaceboy 2500
well thats why you reserve ip addresses on your LAN for things like that. so the ip address won't change
riverboat2001 18
yes, i do, for all devices on my network. But the point is that i though upgrding would be a good thing! Anyway I've downgraded back to nextpvr 4 and after after a lot of faffing about i've got a reasonably working system. It'll take a few days to iron the kinks out, just can't do it at the moment as i have family shielding with me, and need it just to work!
